Is Bledsoe going into the HOF in his first year of eligibility like Moon?

Man, I've never read so much hatred for a Cowboy QB in a long time!

Now I understand what Parcells meant about "losing the player", because if Henson or Romo would have played this past season, most of this board would be heading to Dallas with Tar and Feathers looking for one or both of those guys!!

I'm not a Bledsoe lover or hater, but, sheesh, what else, or who else can we get to pacify the Bledsoe hater fans?

I guess you weren't around for the Quincy/Hutch wars were yeah?

The fact is if you go back far enough to the Morton/Staubach time period you will find that "hatin" on the Dallas QB, whomever he is, is a pretty popular pastime.

I mean there were times when it seemed Danny White was just above "criminal" level.

And "Walsh/Aikman"? Just as ugly.

This Bledsoe stuff isn't new. And it isn't as much about hating Drew as it is some of us just don't think he's good enough to be leading the Dallas Cowboys... that's all.

If you can't see the implications...perhaps you need a mental test! :D

I take it then that you are "implying" that I hate Bledsoe...

nothing could be further from the truth...I do not even know Bledsoe and as far as I am aware of he has done no harm to me or my family...In fact I heard that he is a very nice person and gives generously of his time and money to causes he deems worthy...

I was at the DNM during the QC/Hutch mess, and you are right, the Dallas QB is supposed to be great, since we had some really great ones!

Anyway, I don't know one way or the other about Bledsoe, and that's what makes the games fun for me to watch!

That is all it is... I find that he sucks as a QB...that don't mean I hate the guy...and I certainly am gonna call the shots as I see them because this is a discussion board and I want what is best for the Dallas Cowboys as do all the fans

That is because you are new here. Around in those dark days of Leaf, Carter, Hutch, VT and that revolving door at QB it was pretty bad.

you can have the superduperdrewcrew quit selling him at every opportunity.

Dragons are above the law or beneath it or more accurately put...the laws don't pertain to Dragons and Dragons really don't care about the laws of humans anyway...Besides it wouldn't be proper for me at all to ask of its doings as it really isn't my concern and he would think me quite rude.

I'd say his chances are about 20% at this point.

Bledsoe would make it on longevity rather than being a top-flight QB.

He's an above average QB who played a long time.

Moon played into his 40's. Drews #'s stack up pretty well against Moon #'s right now.

I'm not saying you can blame Moon for the system he played in but he did run the run and shoot for about 6 years.

Over all I dont have a problem with Moon getting in. I live in Houston and the Oilers was my team behind the Cowboys of course. But if you let him in 1st ballot, I see no reason why Drew cant make it 1st ballot.

IF and I repeat IF Bledsoe gets a ring with the Boys or any other team for that matter. I think he should be a lock.

That was good! You're nuts!! :laugh2:

Yes.

No doubt.

If not for his numbers then for being Bill Parcells quarterback. Compared to his other Field General, Simms, I would take Bledsoe in a lightning fast second.

Bledsoe gets a first ballot induction.

:star:

edited: I guess Simms isn't in the Hall. I don't know why I thought that. But the answer remains the same. Because of Parcells I believe Bledsoe gets in. His numbers will simply secure the matter. He was also a top overall pick once upon a time and he actually went on to have a decent career, which not many overall top picks do.

Simms isn't in the HOF.

I realized that the second after I posted and just edited. Ha-ha I was hoping nobody would catch it before I got a chance to do that. You're ontop of things I see! :D

You know the drill Zaxor. If you wouldn't drink his bath water it means you hate him.

I think it's a good thing he didn't know me when Steve Pelluer was the QB.
