Got into a Facebook debate on an NFL page I'm on. I'm curious to hear your thoughts on if he's a top ten QB or not.

I would say probably, but let's see what he does his second year before we anoint him Hall of Fame material.

I agree with you. He had the best rookie season I've ever seen any rookie QB have, and I believe it's highly likely he'll continue improving and will be regarded as elite. He does have some stuff to work on, such as his intermediate range passes where is accuracy was off much of the time. If that's the only thing a rookie QB struggled with, that's amazing. Many rookies struggle to throw as many or more TDs as picks. Is it possible he could crash and burn like RG3 did after his first year? I suppose that's possible, but I'd doubt it.

Here's a thought but what was his TD:Interception ratio compared to Top 10 QB's?

And what were their ratios their Rookie seasons?

How many won 13 games as rooks?

Just spit balling from my couch of course...;)

No, not yet.
And when I hear "Top 10", I'm not thinking just an individual year. I'm looking at performance over three years.

Just to answer your question.

Ben Roethlisberger went 13-0* as a rookie. However, he rode the coattails of a strong running game
and a very stout defense. (*Tommy Maddox started the season 2-1)

TD-Internet ratio... 17-11

Pittsburgh lost to NE in the AFC Championship that year.... and won it all the following year.**
**Maybe Dak does too.
