Got into a Facebook debate on an NFL page I'm on. I'm curious to hear your thoughts on if he's a top ten QB or not.
Probably. He needs to confirm last year.

Well, if he did that, then he'd destroy the matrix for how I evaluate a quarterback. But I'm not expecting that. My evaluation is based on more realistic measurements. Your scenario CLEARLY would be outside realistic measurements. With that logic, he could go 16-0, dominate in the playoffs, win the Super Bowl and be NFL MVP...
and you'd say he needs another year.... man, you're tough... lol

I would say probably, but let's see what he does his second year before we anoint him Hall of Fame material. He is NOT top 5 as was mentioned above. Not yet.
Not even close, he's got a long way to go... it was one freaking year, let's see how he does this year.
Now you're just trolling. As I've said over and over, if a guy like Carr is top 10 based on last season's performance (his 1st 2 years were average), then so should Dak.

Is that a serious question? Here is a easy test. Name 10 QB's better than Dak. Bet they couldn't do it.Got into a Facebook debate on an NFL page I'm on. I'm curious to hear your thoughts on if he's a top ten QB or not.
Carr has had two strong yearsThen same applies to Carr.
Carr has had two strong years
His 2nd year wasnt as good as last year, but 32 TDs, 13 ints, and a 91.3 established a solid base that he built on. Thats allIn your book his 2nd year is strong, not mine. Completed only 61.1 passes, and a 91.1 qbr. To me that's average. And thru 3 seasons, he is 60.9 completion %, and 87.9 qbr. But yet, people say that is good enough for him to be top 10 qb, but not Dak after a historic rookie season, and #3 in qbr behind Matt Ryan and Tom Brady.

As for Dak. I wont even go there. He was excellent. Great rookie year. Outstanding.
