Looking strictly at Draft picks for the Boys, I actually forgot about Witten.
He's absolutely in the top two.
I just think if Dak is (at the very least) a top 15-ish QB, solid- to good QB - a fourth round pick at that - that's saved the franchise from QB hell (like the between Aikman and Romo days), his value pretty much has to trump any other pick.
Is he the best player drafted since 1999? No. But even a solid QB is hard to find and likely saved the team from rivaling the ineptness of the Cleveland Browns.
BTW, I think it's laughable that some people think anybody could have had success the last few years with Zeke. Of course Dak leans on Zeke considerably, but without a QB you got nothing (your words, actually!
), and Dak plays a significant part in this team's success.
