From a female's perspective. Dak's
the 2016 round 4 NFL draft pick was intended to be a backup quarterback.

Still, soon after then Romo became injured, Prescott got his chance to star in the spotlight, & he took advantage of it during the 2016 season, Prescott, a rookie, created many NFL quarterback rookie records, which earned him plaudits & awards, notably the 2016 Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Year award.

Since then, he has emerged as one of America’s team’s most prominent players, which has earned him the admiration of the Dallas Cowboys fans. A talented quarterback, Prescott’s passing ability is impeccable. His career passing rating of 97.5% (as of October 2020) is ranked as the fourth all-time highest in the NFL.

If you don't like nor respect the leadership this young man has given, it's simply because you're jealous.

If you don't like nor respect the leadership this young man has given to this franchise, it's simply because you're jealous. And yes, he's most definitely worth the money.

So he's worth the money simply for these reasons and not because he will actually win championships for the team...... This sounds very much like a comment Jerry would make. "I'm gonna pay this kid because I like him, not because he's ever going to get me another super bowl".

My opinion? I think you're overly infatuated with Dak, just like you were with Romo. The infatuation is blinding you from reality. Most Cowboys fans don't pound their chests over regular season stats, they want to see championships. I wouldn't blink an eye if Dak threw for 45000 yards in one season if they ended up missing the playoffs or were one and done.

his “leadership” has been non existent the last 4 weeks when the team is struggling and needs leadership

He’s worth it to Jethro. And that’s all that matters to an owner who’s priority is in his own words” interesting and relative”.

What does Jethro have without Dak? He can sell the hell out of hope with 8-8 but not 4-12.

And this is why our dysfunctional ownership hangs on to his stars. They sell and create loyalty from fans.

From a male's perspective. Dak has shown the tendencies to disappear in games and has struggled with 3rd and 4th down with the games on the line. Maybe even though while the losses still happened, maybe we were spoiled by Romo as the game never felt like it was out of hand but with Dak it has on several occasions. KC and Denver this season, He couldn't do anything the ENTIRE GAME. Wasn't like he was just bad the first half or even the first 3 quarters he was shutout the entire game.
Going back to 2019 he was terrible vs the Saints, Packers, Jets, Patriots, Bills, Chicago and Philly. Most of those games he put up his stats in garbage time on the last 2-4 drives of the game with the game already over. Patriots, Saints and Philly he could barely get the ball past midfield the ENTIRE GAME, that's why he's not worth that much. Is he a great leader, YES, but he still needs to show up and produce.

If fans or critics want to target someone who’s preventing this franchise from more success they should exert all of their energy and time on the one constant throughout this era which is the foundation for our lack of success this era thru several coaching staffs , QB’s and rosters.
The Dr of Doom, Jethro Jone$.

Players like Dak and Romo have helped prop up a fundamentally flawed ran football franchise .

This is why this foolish selfish eccentric narcissistic idiotic owner hangs on to his stars because they attract fans and sell hope when there’s little basis otherwise.

If not for this group of overpaid stars this would be more of a 4-5 win team every year . The kind of team we see when these key stars are out.

If you’re targeting anyone but the Dr of Doom, Jethro Jone$ then you’re most likely just trolling Cowboys Nation as you probably don’t fully grasp the severity of our situation.
