Is DeMarcus Lawrence done?

What is latest with Lawrence's back? Him, Irving and Taco would make a nice rotation. Saying Taco is automatically RE when he's basically a DML clone makes me think even Jerry has lost hope
good question.

with Meyowa, Irving, Lawrence, Tapper, moore and Charlton, that's 6 DEs. I doubt if we keep 6. given we need 4 DTs. so who is the odd man out? Lawrence? or Moore (who we just signed?)

He'll play out his contract, but yeah, he's not getting a 2nd deal and I doubt if they are counting on him(to be more than an average player is what I mean by this. Have to get real specific around here sometimes.)

The only way he gets a 2nd deal is if it's dirt cheap. Like a T. Will type of deal.

Got a feeling he's gonna open some peoples eyes this year...Just sayin;)

I think he could be pretty good but the back injury has just totally hindered the type of player he could be.

He hurt his back during the offseason too. Probably lifting weights.

I think DLaw is still needed but needs to come out this year playing good ball out of the gates. Cowboys need as many pass rushers as they possibly can have.

I'll do a signature bet for the beginning of next season, that he is on the roster.

The loser has to post on his signature block for three months, the following: 'I was the arse hole that couldn't figure out what was hitting me in the face.'

Put your money where your mouth is!
I dont care enough to take the bet, sorry

Wouldn't they release him then ?

He's not getting paid because he's suspended and not taking up a roster spot on the 53 and Jerry wouldn't want to give up on his mistake this early.....but Gregory's an addict and I can't see him going a full year with out failing another drug test....talked a good game on the stage right after being drafted but hasn't lived up to that big talk!

Unfortunately any offensive or defensive linemen with numerous back surgeries isn't a good sign

Enjoy a year of ignore, good night...

I thought he could come back for the playoffs. Wonder if they'd even activate him if he can.
Gregory had some moments of potential greatness when he played at the end of last year (before the playoffs). If he stay's off the leaf (which is a big if) and works hard through the season, I'm sure they would consider him as an option especially if we're banged up at that position.

I would love a Cowboy story of rededication and winning...

I would not jump to that conclusion quite yet.
