Dez is not the fastest straight line runner but his speed from change of direction to full speed is the 2nd fastest on the team. Beasley is the fastest route runner besides him the other two the body catcher and Butler are more for straight line routes.

So no.. he's not the slowest. We just have the slowest coaches.

Sorry, those implying

Your constant abuse of stats is stupifying.

He played on a bum foot and had Matt Cassel as QB last year.

His last 100 yard game was with Matt Cassel. The first 100 yard game of his NFL career was with old man Jon Kitna. Chew on that! :thumbup:He's not suppose to have a bum foot anymore so what excuse do you have for the worst performance of his career last Sunday? Want to blame it on Dak who had no trouble finding Beasely and Witten?

Receivers are judged on stats. It's Dez's stats that earned him that big contract and elite status amongst WRs. He hasn't lived up to his contract so far and if his numbers don't start improving the discussions we've been having about him here will be taking place by those who get paid to talk football and you can quote me on that.

Statistics without context are just numbers. You still haven't figured that out. Go figure.

Everything I post has context, I cover all the bases everyone who follows my posts know it you just have an agenda. You've been following me around for the past month with a jr high mentality posting nothing but gibberish just looking to start arguments.

Way to early to say he hasn't lives up to his contract yet. Let's be rational here. He's played what like 8 games since he signed the contract and half of which he was hurt. Let's just all calm down and quite with these knee jerk reactions. I've read some post on here saying he's not even a top 30 receiver in the league lol........good luck just naming 30 wr in the league let alone 30 better than Dez

I said he hasn't lived up to his contract "so far" and he hasn't. Would you not agree? I'm not a knee jerk type of fan, never have been and I'm not saying Dez is finished but it is concerning that his unproductive play from last season has carried over to this year at least after game one. You would think after a full offseason he would be ready to put to rest his disappointing 2015 season but his game on Sunday certainly didn't signify he's back to form. Those who claim he's not a top 30 receiver are living in a moment of total despair after Sundays loss and Dez's unproductive game. One of the first threads that hit the board immediately after Sundays loss was titled "season over." Dez is still a very talented receiver you could see that on the TD that was reversed but his numbers have dipped and Sundays production was his lowest ever. There is some reason for concern with him coming off ankle and foot surgery. If his numbers don't start to really improve in the next few games many around the league are going to start wondering what's wrong with him. Some may look at our QB situation as the problem for his lack of production but there will be those who will start to think the problem might be with him. They'll start looking at his injury from last season and start to wonder if maybe he's lost something.

Lol at the Dez threads on here. I'm slightly worried but I'll wait another game at least. His pride is on the line. This is where we'll see if Dez is washed or not. Sorry season last year, bad madden rating, shut down week 1, and now is going against a guy who said he doesn't deserve his money. If we don't see Dez Bryant after all of that then I'll officially admit it's been a fun ride :(

They should play Dez in the slot and put fast guys on the outside. The problem is, where do you get the fast guys. The cowboys don't know how to draft wide receivers. If we don't get one of the best available in the first 10-15 picks, were not going to find anyone. Unless your Pitt as they find receivers all the time along with putting a defense together withing a few years. We haven't had a defense in 20 years. Jusy saying...
