Wow I'm seeing some thing totally different. I see a QB who is taking hits waiting for a play to develop. The guy stands and waits knowing hes going to get beat up. I like it.

OH BOY. Excuses. Don't we love those excuses. I guess we should excuse that last Seattle pass and blame it on the O-line... Is that we want to do? A QB who excuses his short-comings with a bad o-line is a still bad QB. 110 yards. 110 YARDS. That's all he got yesterday. No TD's, nothing else. ZERO. Zip. Zilch. Can you blame it ALL on the O-line? I don't think so.

And how many picks did he throw yesterday? ZERO. ZIP. ZILCH.
And How many did Vinny throw yesterday? I lost track after two

And you still want to compare him to Vinny? One bad pass is all you can come up with? I think most poeple would agree Cortez lost the seattle game. But then again why call a pass play in that situation? In the rain none the less. But hey I will you give you that one. But does that make him another Vinny?

We have won 3 straight games. If you are expecting that Bledsoe should throw 300 plus yards and 4td's every game. Then you are setting your standards to high for a Parcells coached team.

People should get used to that fact. And as long as we are winning I could care less what Drew's performance is. If you want to beat yourself up over his 110 yard performance. Then by all means knock yourself out.

I will celebrate that we won and are 7-3.

That's true. And he's not fast at reading his progressions so it sorta compounds the issue a little.

Over the last couple of games it seems that Drew has been off the mark on several throws. Is it possible that Drew's arm is starting to wear down as the season progresses ala VT last year? Drew is no spring chicken his accuracy does not seem to be the same as it was in the first half of the season. Since I haven't been able to watch the last few games I can only go by what I read/hear. Your thoughts?

And Troy Aikman never had a few sub par games back to back?

It's been a long 10 game wait for you hasn't. There there, let it all out. I know it's hard. But eventually in game 10 Drew had his first game without a TD. If you watched the game you'd know it was because Witten couldn't make the catch (that wasn't a perfect throw but if it hits your hands you are supposed to make the catch), and we had perhaps the most half-hearted attempt by Polite where he was pushed out at the 1, and then we had the most curious 3 consecutive rush call, and we had a huge lead in the 4th quarter to protect.

But you're right. Drew had NO TD's.

Could it be that Drew couldn't keep up his 100+ rating all season? Could it be that 94.4, and still #1 in the NFC (now tied with Bulger but with 14/7 vs 14/9), and a career high for Drew, is the best he can do?

I've seen every game Bledsoe has played the past 4 years, since I'm a Cowboys fan and I live in Buffalo.

And I still don't completely know what to make of the guy, probably because you don't really know what your going to get week to week.

I do know those that are saying he just holds the ball trying to hit a big pass downfield aren't entirely correct. Yes he likes to throw the deep ball. He also is slow setting up in the pocket, has a slow release and isn't the quickest decision-maker, a very underrated trait in a QB and perhaps the most important one.

But when he gets in a rythym, he can be dynamite, no better arm in the game, and really what more could we ask for at this point?

True also. But what I havn't seen is antsy. He stands there waiting to throw and make a play. Thats antsy?

I agree. He's tried to make a play for the most part.

This is just typical drew. We shouldnt be surprised. He's always been hot and cold as a QB. Just look at his career numbers. He is what he is. A decent to good QB, never an exceptional one. I was expecting on the order of 20 TD passes, 14 ints, and a qb rating in the high 70's, low 80s. Ive been surprised by his play thus far, but will not be surprised when i see him struggle a bit. I think he'll continue to come back down to earth and have a normal, average 2nd half and finish the year with slightly better-than-average-for-Drew Bledsoe numbers.
