Is Fujita our weakest link on Defense?

It just seems to me that any time the opposing offense needs to get a big chunk of yards it comeas on either Fujita's side or directly against him.

Any thoughts on this?

i think it was fuita that wiffed on the big gain by Jones, everytime i hear his name it's usually not good, we really miss Al, now that he's gone

Fujita could maybe be a depth guy but I think we probably need to upgrade this position - expect a high draft pick or FA to come in. My guess is that Burnett ends up inside next to James next year.

Yes that was Fujita who whiffed on the big play by the Lions' RB. Fujita had other bad plays also. When his mane is called it usually isn't good and the prblem is tthat it seems his mane gets called way too often.

I was Pro getting rid of Als and I am man enough to admit I was wrong. Fujita and Ware are letting running backs get outside and they better get it fixed or Denver will eat us alive.

Burnett is playing pretty bad right now too.

I think Parcells drafted Burnett as an inside LB but since we were so weak on the outside he had to play him at OLB.

I don't think Burnett will start next year on the inside ....but he might be put into the rotation. he will be a year behind in his development. Hopefully Dat can fully recover. But we need a nice rotation at every position.

...may be having trouble with his assignments. He whiffed on Kevin Jones' big run.

He also was called out by Parcells on McNabb's TD scamper as the person who didn't cover his assignment and let Donovan skip into the endzone.

Some on this board insist that it was Dat's fault, but Parcells seems to have a different idea.

Fujita may become serviceable to this team if he can understand his assignments. At this point he's prone to being beat in a footrace to the corner. Happened twice now.

he's been pretty bad the past two games, no doubt...Shanle has also been poor but we are getting no pass rush from anyone up front whatsoever

despite getting the majority of the snaps - ferguson has 13 solo tackles, 2 assists, zero sacks.

Back to the fact - Our Defense rocked and we won 20-7.
