Is it Brock Purdy or the culture?

There is most certainly a culture issue when a team can go out and lay an egg like Dallas did with n the Commanders game ..
So we haven't the ability to give it any degree?.
Lay an egg.... that's it? That's all?

I'd say we got our ax handed to us........on a platter. Pathetic.

And pathetic you make excuses about it sheesh.

To much Garret permeating through DC. MM will eventually build his own team from top down. JG was barely salvageable back up QB who taught our OC and QB everything they know. You notice Dak regressed after a year un JG? He was better as a rookie.

You know why you can discard a QB that took you to the Super Bowl? Because they people evaluating the roster know full well what Jimmy G is and what he is not. And they decided that he was not good enough.

The people evaluating the roster in Dallas would build a statue outside for ANYBODY that takes them to the Super Bowl...they would finally...after 30 years....be able to say that Jimmy was not the reason for those trophies in the 90s. And they would be WRONG!!!!!!!!

The people evaluating the roster in Dallas are clueless. If they knew what they have...they would have NEVER let the Dak situation get to 40 plus million a season. And I am not a Dak basher or lover. I just call it like I see it!
But, they brought Jimmy G back and had him starting. That kind of goes against the point that they knew what they had in Purdy. Additionally, it wasn't a big deal to draft a 7th round QB when they thought that they weren't going to have a backup. People are reimagining what really happened to fit a narrative.

THe 49ers gave up a ton to get Lance and it looks like it was a complete screwup. But they come out smelling like a rose with Purdy.

When did I say they knew what they had in Purdy? I said they drafted him....got him ready to play...and when the time came for him to answer the bell....he's done that.

Yeah I don't understand the big money we gave Gallup who was injured either. I rather kept Coop but I guess he was just due too much money. We keep handing dumb contracts out like the one we gave Zeke. I rather us traded Zeke and get a first rounder. Instead we gave him a huge contract and he has been trash since signing it.
Should not have drafted Zeke, next pick was Jen Ramsey, still a top corner in the league. Zeke is done, worn out and hasn’t got us to championship game.
I still think Cooper Rush played well when he had to,
Need to draft a QB.
Win tomorrow, SF rematch

No doubt Brock Purdy has talent. But you have to love what they have built and cultivated in San Francisco. They SHOULD have won a Super Bowl with Jimmy G against the great Patrick Mahomes and that juggernaut in KC. You saw what the 49ers came into Dallas and did last year during the divisional round. And let's not forget they were without Deebo Samuel for a big chunk of the season. If CeeDee Lamb were to go down...would Dallas have been able to stay afloat? And I am not comparing CeeDee to Deebo....Deebo is a flat out beast.

I mean...I don't need to remind anyone that Jimmy G took them to the Super Bowl..the organization said "that was not good enough". They spent a top 5 pick on a QB...he was ineffective and got hurt...and they plug in Mr Irrelevant and don't skip a beat. I said it last year before our playoff game against the 49ers...the game against the 49ers last year was lost before it started...because the guy on their sidelines (kyle shanahann) gives them a decided advantage on gameday against the guy on our sidelines. Coaching (read culture) matters...especially in the postseason. They have that thing built RIGHT in San Fran.

Our culture is so fragile...I don't think we would even DARE draft a QB with Dak in the building. And this is not a bash Dak thread. It's about a REAL football organization versus an entitled entertainment conglomerate where football is one arm of Jerry's empire. I am smiling in admiration at the 49ers approach...for them to look at a guy that took them to a Super Bowl....decide he held them back....draft a guy top 5...then draft a guy in the 7th round because they thought that is what was best for their FOOTBALL team...with no concerns about how it would make there top 5 pick feel....get said 7th rounder ready to play.....IMPRESSIVE!!!!
Defense is 85 bears good. Oline and weapons on offense of off the charts. Best team in nfl. That being said purdah has some savvy and mobility.

Culture? bahahahahahahahhahahaahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahhaahhaahhahahahahahhaha

Was it that great winning culture in Bengal land that is why Burrow is so good?
Their GM and HC. Funny how people think the Bengals ownership is worse than Dallas. Lol

Give me the culture of..."Hey HC...you lead we follow...whatever you need." Versus what Dallas has going on.
