Hearing for 3 hours how great the Giants were, how giddy and biased he sounded and him having a seizure after the Beckham catch, I had to mute the tv.

In previous years, Collinsworth annoyed me so much any game he announced was met with multiple profanity-laced retorts from me at my TV set. Has he improved his announcing to be more capable and filled with less stupid remarks or have I just grown used to him?
Collinsworth has always been one of the top analysts on TV.
On the game thread last night while the Cowboys were behind everyone was ripping Collinsworth. There were a number of posts with FANS tearing into him claiming he sucks and that he hates the Cowboys. Funny now that the Cowboys won all of a sudden Collinsworth looks like a better announcer. lol

He was at one time, but he has been quick to give praise.
During Dez's 1st few years, when all the media was down on Dez, saying he was a wasted pick, because of the overblown off the field issues.
Collinsworth actually stood up for Dez. Saying once he gets his issues behind him, watch out, as he could end up being one of the best.
Generally, I have no problem with Michaels or Collinsworth. Though with that Beckham catch last night, I just wanted them both to shut up.. Very nice catch (though I think I've seen better), but they made it sound like Beckham was going to head over to the water table and turn it all into wine.
I wasn't hollering at him even when we kept allowing third-down conversions. He seemed more fair to me in his analysis of what a team's doing wrong. In previous seasons I've felt like Collinsworth found things wrong with a team and then ripped into them with hyperbole and just never shut up. Maybe it's just me because I was pissed in lousy seasons and this season is good thus far, but it doesn't seem like it.

That's unfortunate.
You missed all the praise he lavished on the Cowboys o-line on that game winning drive.
