Its both but they are holding Dak back. His first years before the injury Dak played fearless and worse thing you can do is hold the qb back with the scheme

Jerry ain't that stupid anymore. He got rid of Zeke, Romo and many other players that shouldn't have gotten another contract. If this were 10 years ago you may be right but not anymore.

I see alot of fans blame mccarthy and his wco for the offensive performance tonight but coming into this game, the offense was one of the best at sustaining drives and getting into the redzone. However, tonight was pathetic.

Are receivers really not open or is the QB too scared to attack the MOF?

Here is the main issue that nobody seems to be talking about...................ZONE DEFENSE!!!

Dak cant play against zone, both Arizona and the 49ers almost exclusively played zone defense against Dak and he got confused and started throwing picks.

It really doesnt matter what type of scheme your OC is running if your QB cant play against zone defense.

Problem is this is a copy cat league, expect every team we play to use zone defense against Dak.

Both but Dak can’t run that offense. The QB needs to be able to read quickly and lead the receivers for YAC. I blame MM for making him try this scheme but I also understand that he had to go in another direction because it wasn’t working under KM, particularly against tough teams.

It is mainly a QB problem.

It was working with KMoore.

But Dak's inability to go through progressions meant he couldnt find anyone with Air Coryell.

SF Game 2 - Pollard injury, Moore and Dak
SF Game 3 - Dak

At some point the veteran QB has to take some responsibility...... if he was paid as a rookie, then maybe ok, an 8 year vet looking at potentially close to $50m ???

Garrett never called plays with Dak. It was Linehan. If Garrett was calling plays, it may have been the best thing to happen, because both him and Dak would have been gone together. Dak would have been exposed a lot quicker. Like 2-3 games in…
