Is it worth paying Osa top dollar when we already have Micah, Dak, and Lamb

Is it worth paying Osa top dollar when we're going to be paying Micah soon, to go along with the top dollar deals we have for Lamb and Dak? Yes we can afford it, but is it worth all this money being tied up in so many players. Is Osa worth the top dollar he'll likely command, or are we better off just drafting his replacement? Please give your thoughts
I can't stomach having to heave up around 21million a year for Osa...That's too big of a slice of the pie. We can probably get both BJ Hill and Kinlaw for around the same price. Let Quinn have Osa.

one knock and not that i'm trying to bash him is that he's good at one part of the season then he kind of tapers off
He tapered off this year? Honestly it seems like he got stronger as the year went on.

Week 1-9 he was in on 2 sacks, 21 pressures
Week 10-18 he was in on 5 sacks, 39 pressures

If you think hes average I would recommend looking around the rest of the league at the interior DL play. All his metrics from this year are pretty much in line with Jalen Carter's who many think is a top 5 guy at the position right now.
Respectfully, anyone who watches Osa play and watches Jalen play and thinks they are even remotely close to equal in performance...I have a bridge I'd like to sell you in Brooklyn.

Certainly you have to take the tape into consideration as well as the numbers. I'd rather have Jalen as well, hes a similar style of player but younger and 30 pounds heavier, but I'm not sure the gap is quite what some think it is.

If Osa is going to be paid one of the highest at his position never being an all-pro or even an alternate pro bowler that would be silly.

Pay him upper mid tier money which is what he's worth. That defense needs to retain a handful of mid tier guys, they can't all be bargain basement guys and break the bank guys.

sounds good to me! What do you think his asking price will be
15 - 18 million. about what Osa's asking will be, but with more production. im ok with paying 18m if they are productive. Osa is just a JAG to me gets you 3 - 5 sacks a year and would be better as a rotational guy. problem is he's going to command top dollar for mediocre production.

It's worth paying osa, half dollar and a couple other people, some serious money and letting Parsons walk.

Not signing him makes the situation on the D-line considerably worse, even with hitting on a 1st rounder DT to replace him.

Yes and no, but there’s the rub.

Signing him to big money means you only have what you already know isn’t good enough, as they won’t be using high draft capital or money on other FA after doing that.

That leaves things where? They just flat out don’t value the position even though they continue to be run stomped on by better teams.

It’s along the lines of having 30 years of failure yet still proclaiming there’s no one better.

This is not a top 10 player. This is the guy we pay and everyone hates after mid way in the season bc he won’t make that kind of impact

Yes.

We need DTs. Those who can rush the passer as Osa can. But he needs a good 1-tech next to him.

We should not have paid Diggs. He was over rated and doesn't tackle and is selfish.

You don't build a team outside in plus Philly and KC paid their DTs and Philly spent a high first rounder on one.

We got stuck with Mazi

Offer him ten million for three years guaranteed. If he does not take it, walk away
