He sure is. Nobody else can do as many things at an elite level as him. Donald was that guy, it's Parsons turn now
Aaron Donald is still the best defensive player in the league. One can make the case Parsons is #2
Yes he is.
Nobody has better since Parsons entered the league.
Except for, you know, the guy that beat him out for DPOY last season. But do go on.
No other defensive player in the league
You mean the guy who hasn’t played the last 6 weeks?
Yes, injuries happen. Parsons has also been dinged up, he'll eventually hit his stretch of missing games at some point too especially with how often we move him around at his size. Simple fact is, you said NOBODY is better than him since entering the league - except for the guy who had 22.5 sacks last year and won DPOY or Aaron Donald who helped his team to a Super Bowl victory last season.
Except TJ Watt performed better last seasonYes, and when Parsons misses games that will rightfully count against him when it comes to determining who the best defensive player is.
Nobody has been better over the last 24 games, which is what I was referring to, since Parsons entered the league.

Again, not what you said - you said nobody was better than him since entering the league. TJ Watt was, by far, the better defensive player in 2021. Maybe Parsons gets to that level one day, simple fact is, TJ Watt is an absolute force that has elevated that Steelers defense and had them ranked near the top for consecutive seasons now.
Was a no show against the 49ers in the post-season, was a near no-show against the Eagles. He also wasn't dominant today either and saw him get stood up a couple times.
He could be the best defensive player in the league one day. But he's not there yet. Every single player on this defense has a lot to prove still after what they allowed against the Eagles.

When I said nobody has been better than Parsons since entering the league I meant over that span Parsons has been the best player.
If there was an award for NFL Defensive Player Of The Last Season And A Half, Parsons would win.
TJ Watt wouldn’t win because he hasn’t played the last 6 weeks. And 5 voters already thought Parsons was better than Watt last year even though Parsons was only a rookie.
Donald wouldn’t win since he finished behind Parsons in last year’s voting, and Parsons is having a better season so far this year.

I mean, TJ Watt already go an award for a huge chunk of those "Nobody has played better than Parsons" - DPOY. So 18 games out of those 24 have gone to TJ Watt. So yeah, it takes Watt being sidelined for Parson's to take the top spot. Congratulations? Now if only Parsons doesn't ghost when we need him the most. That's his next step. As I said, this is the expectations this board created with the criticisms they gave to Ware.
the DPOY aware is heavily weighted toward performance toward the end of the year. If someone is outplaying him down the stretch and is on a better team, they could easily take the award.
I think right now you have to say yes. His impact is even greater than just the sack and pressure numbers and he is in the top 3 for both categories.I say he's at least in the conversation. And very much may be. As disruptive as he his, I feel he is a big reason the defense is balling out like it is.
