Was a no show against the 49ers in the post-season, was a near no-show against the Eagles. He also wasn't dominant today either and saw him get stood up a couple times.

He could be the best defensive player in the league one day. But he's not there yet. Every single player on this defense has a lot to prove still after what they allowed against the Eagles.
What game were you watching Sunday?

When he learns to play with more control, and gets better at setting the edge then yes!

I don't care if he's the best defensive player in the league or not. What I care about is he's a Cowboys player and he always seems to make a play when we need it. He stopped the ball carrier at the 1 with great hustle that most players would have given up on. That was the play of the game. He just makes plays. Awesome player. I would not trade Parsons for Aaron Donald straight up. Parsons is in year 2 and Donald contemplated retirement this offseason. Barring injury Parsons will go down as one of the best defensive players in history. I'm just enjoying watching him play. I really hope Jerry doesn't squander this talent like he did with some of my favorite players the last 20 years. Jerry needs to surround him with a team to win the Super Bowl. A generational player has emerged, we need to capitalize.

The SF game where he made almost every tackle sideline to sideline at LB? Lol

Don't freakin' pretend Parson's dominated that game. And he will get the big money by pressuring and sacking the QB, he failed to do what we drafted him to do in both the 49ers and Eagles game.

It's hilarious how nerds on here criticized Ware for not showing up in big games, but then praise Parsons when he failed both tests so far. Shiny toy syndrome.

Yes he is. He will be credited with this sack too from yesterdays game that was credited to dorance. Giving him another multisack game and 8 on the year.

Dude, Parsons played most of the SF game at LB. Go watch the game again.

Sam Williams is climbing the ladder, but Parsons is the guy now.

Micah is certainly top #3. People are using the Eagles game and saying his not a top player. But The Eagles had to account for him on every play and they even has certain plays used against him in neutralizing him.

The reason why our defense has been dominant is because Parsons is getting so much attention that extra blockers are assigned to him freeing up an extra man to the QB.

Micah Parsons didn’t disappoint in his first-ever playoff game, as his five defensive stops led all players in the game. While he wasn’t deployed as a blitzer much (10 snaps), he still got home for two pressures.

Hard to say if he's the best defensive player in the league but he certainly is the best on our defense I think almost everybody will agree with that.
He certainly has the potential if he can stay injury-free to be the best in the league but honestly I'm a little worried about him playing through injury and possibly hurting himself worse at this point.

He reminds me of the flame that burns twice as bright only burns half as long. Makes me a little concerned that someone should look out for his welfare as I believe he will push himself to play no matter what.

That said before the 49ers game he had just gotten over COVID anyone who has had this knows that you are not 100% for a while he was good enough to play but certainly not at the top of his game.

If you want to blame him for something in that regard blame him for not taking better precautions and going out to basketball games and other public places where you put yourself at higher risk was not really smart.

At this point he is the best player on our team and our leader.

He flat out wants to be the best and win more than anyone else on the team and it shows on the field like when he didn't give up and tackled that guy down at the one.
That's the kind of plays that make him the best we are lucky to have him.

This will be the criticism of him his whole career if he doesn't move to FT DE. He plays most of a game at his natural position and people claim he had a bad game because he didn't get a sack. Be like Ohtani pitching and getting day off hitting and being criticized for not hitting a home run.

Aaron Donald is still the best defensive player in the league. One can make the case Parsons is #2

Even in games where he may not get gaudy numbers, he influences everything else going on around him. Offenses have to account for him every play, opening things up for guys like Armstrong and Williams
