Is Sheldon Richardson worth a 2nd round pick?

I believe he was on suspension when that happened. He may be on strike one, but that's at least two incidents he had. Even if he's one strike away from a 4-game suspension I don't want to spend valuable draft picks or cap space on character risk guys.

I also think he was part of the lineman group that skipped meetings for the Jets last year.

Great talent, but obviously not a fit for a team that can't tolerate that in the locker room.

If Richardson signed an extension, of course he's worth a second round pick, especially our second rounder.

They could sign a guy like Kawaan Short for the same money and it would not require a draft pick.

Don't understand why folks are pining away for Richardson. In his past 26 games he's registered a total of 6.5 sacks. That might be acceptable for a DT but for a DE that's not gonna do it.

*The much maligned Tyrone Crawford has 9.5 sacks in his past 30 games.
