Is the Cowboys Defense the best in the NFL?

Sigh...Can you imagine how good we could be if Anthony Brown wasn't always giving up big plays and first downs?

This is quite possible the dumbest thing I've ever read. Sadly, it looks like you put a lot of effort into coming up with this just to play the role of a troll. You invented an idiotic nickname. You created a storyline to try and make it stick. You actually said the team was fortunate that he was hurt. That's a reflection on who you are, not who he is. It's brutally exposing that you put so much effort into something that has absolutely no intellectual value.

I'm not happy with the way Dak played at the end of last year and in the playoff game. I'm not happy with how he looked in his first game this year, either. I can understand why some of the fans aren't happy with his play. I don't need a ridiculous nickname to say that. I'm open to people that want to actually talk about why. Was it the injury? Was it the play calling? Has he dropped off for some other reason? All potential conversations with merit. There is no where to even engage with your nonsense unless someone just agrees with you. You're obviously not open to listening to anyone who might have a different opinion.

If you've turned off the ability to listen and speak thoughtfully and respectfully, there's discussion to be had. It would be more akin to listening to you shout at wallpaper until it peels loose from the wall.
The TOAD HUNTER is an excellent name for a dude who HAS made his living beating the pitiful TOADS in the NFL and the sad thing he struggles against most of those teams too. Toadie IS the reason that Armi was traded, he had finally had enough of the golden child's irradiate play and spoke to the media about how he should be leading this team in all the receiving stats without mentioning the Toad's name and it got him traded for his troubles. Until Prescot gets HIS act together or gets traded or released I like his new name for now..................LOL!

Keep that toad away from your brain brother. It’s eating away at your sense
I can't help it, when I think of Prescot I see a dude with one of those head lamps on, out at some small pond with a frog gigging setup hunting for toads. Just like he does when he's going up against the pitiful teams in the league. Unfortunately, he never shows up in meaningful games, it's like he's MIA against the decent teams in the league and for a dude who pulling in more than $40 million this year and who pulled in more than $75 million last season this is totally unacceptable! His irradiate play just doesn't fly anymore................

Our pass rush is the best in the NFL but we still need some work against the run.

Nope, but DAL has the best pass rush. How did that work for the Giants?

I say No. Not yet: that honor goes to SF presently. That D is completely dominant when healthy.

However- this Cowboys D has the most room for growth of the top units in the NFL by season's end. I think we are on the verge of being a consistent scoop and score, pick 6 D. QB's are terrified to pass.

This is maybe not the best- but the most DANGEROUS unit in the NFL- and it can still get better.
With a lead they have proven they can pin their ears back and create more havoc than any other defense I have seen.
Pass rushers from all angles.

No one hunts for toads except maybe scientists.

Yep...completely lacking anything remotely close to being worthy of an actual discussion.

No,

Overall, San Francisco is a little better.

Unless we're all being homers, we're a top 3 defense, arguably 4.

With Jimmy G, that team scares me. Same for Buffalo.

The best three teams in the league are Dallas, Buffalo and San Francisco.

I rank defenses by PPG. We are 3 there. But within a point and a half from 1st. So, we could jump to 1 any game now.

Let's not get too cocky about this defense and our team. Our defense is on a rampage right now, let's not mess with a good thing and give other teams the impetus to "sock it to us."
So far, so good -- let's just let it be!

Fair assessment. Time will tell
Better(more exsplosive) Offense will help

I would take our defense over any other unit in the NFL.
Jerry needs to do WHATEVER it takes to keep Quinn.
