IMO, the calls have gotten worse since the NFL started the command center with arm chair refs overseeing field officials. In their view, the product is better. Hence they see no need to install a challenge system.
Making calls randomly is crooked.
I think eventually, it's going to cost them. Fans won't spend money on this sport indefinitely. Eventually, people will start walking away, and that means the league will lose money. I'm not saying you're wrong, btw. You're right. I just think eventually, a lot of fans of every team will say "[bleep] this", and they'll walk away.

I already have walked away. I don’t spend a dime on the NFL. In my house we actually laugh at the refs and calls / no calls because it feels so obviously steered.
Not that I believe there's a conspiracy, but billionaires who own football teams can be petty men. There's probably a lot of jealousy toward Dallas.
