Is there any doubt now that officials are crooked?

I already have walked away. I don’t spend a dime on the NFL. In my house we actually laugh at the refs and calls / no calls because it feels so obviously steered.
Me too. I've found a way to watch every game I want to without paying the league anything. I also will only buy used merch so that they don't get a cent from me that way. It's gotten to the point of being ridiculous. I know it would be impossible to have a league where all of the refs' calls are perfect. I get that. But it should be much, much better than it is.

The college refs were so much better. People had it in their heads that they were worse, and so kept saying it, but it was never true.

I believe the refs themselves started the diatribe that they were so much better than the college refs. Only explanation, because they were not.

Micah Parsons is held all throughout every game. Rarely is it called. The roughing passer call. I did not see the game. Was it valid?
Not rare. IT IS NEVER CALLED. THIS IS A VIRTUAL IMPOSSIBILILTY. RIDDLE ME THAT BATMAN.

Disagree on the Dolphins roughing the passer call. Prescott clearly grabbed the defenders helmet and pulled him down to get the call. I agree with you that the refs are terrible this year. But it goes both ways on all teams and anybody that says otherwise lives in a vacuum when it comes to their favorite team.
They can not let the oline tackle linebackers on game winning drives.

I saw his body bent over backwards as he ran past the blockers multiple times.
There is a pic on dallas cowboys.com that shows irrefutably he was being held by two lineman with tua in the foreground. Two of them had their arms wrapped around him. Just like in the buffalo game. Officials will not call holding against parsons. It is crooked, criminal, and fixed.

The officials are told how to officiate. It looks like the only holding they are looking to call is when the qb runs to the outside of the pocket. Evidently, you can tackle a linebacker on a running play and you can hold dominant pass rushers.
These same officials have been there for 3 consecutive winning playoff Cowboys’ seasons. You are totally stoked about the team and therefore the officiating during that time. Admit it-you love these refs.

Point spread management. There was plenty of time for them to carry the Dolphins to a gsme
Winning field goal and beat the Cowboys by 2. Dolphins were favored by 2.5.
so then they would be cheating for the Cowboys in that scenario

Why would you not them in the Super Bowl if the league is rigged? Why have us end Tom Bradys career at home in the first round if it's rigged? Because it isnt.
I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again. I don’t want to be a conspiracy theorist but they make it really hard. I want to believe the discrepancies in calls are due to human error, but they’re making it really hard.

I can’t remember who posted it and what thread but someone post all the teams since 2000 to have 100+ penalties a year. During those 22 years we had 18 seasons of 100+ penalties.

Very difficult for me to believe we would have penalty problems between 5 head coaches, Campo, Parcells, Phillips, Garrett and now McCarthy. Someone pulled up the data. The data is pretty alarming. IMO a little too alarming for human error.

But to answer your main question. It’s a better story that Dallas retires an aging Tom Brady and then faces their next big bully in the 49ers, which rekindles a long storied rivalry . Good for ratings. Why they don’t rig it so we’re in the Super Bowl? They don’t have to. They make plenty of money without Dallas being involved.

Goodell grew up in a house with Ratscum season tickets.. But I have explained the bias against the Cowboys many times. It has nothing to do with conspiracy and everything to do with jealousy. The majority of NFL referees and front office types grew up watching the Cowboys on TV every Sunday beating up on their favorite team. To add insult to injury they had the networks marketing the Cowboys as "America's Team." That infuriated people enough but in 1995 Jerry Jones sued the NFL over naming rights and sponsorship deals and even though it was settled out of court, given that every team in the league has followed Jerry's model, I think we can safely say Jerry won that battle. The NFL's chief counsel at that time was none other than Roger Goodell.. who you might recognize as the current commissioner. Goodell has never forgiven Jerry and his lawyers for that butt whuppin nor for the butt whuppins the Cowboys put on his favorite team when he was a boy. A LOT of NFL refs are in a similar boat. Even if they all TRY to be unbiased that 10 year old boy who watched the Cowboys boat race his favorite team is still there inside all of them. Throw in that even now, 30 years removed from their last championship the Cowboys are STILL far and away the most popular, most talked about, most intensely covered team in the land it drives that 10 year old boy absolutely bonkers. So no the Cowboys are not going to catch a log of breaks from the Zebras.. and they are never going to be good enough to beat another good team AND the Zebras. Because that team doesn't exist. People continually claim it's a "conspiracy theory." I say BS. Many things we see every day happen without anybody conspiring to make it happen. 120 million Americans will tune into the Super Bowl at precisely the same time.. When was the secret meeting held to make that happen? The fact of the matter is this franchise has won its last championship in our lifetimes. The playing field has been tilted against it for 30 years and it's not likely to change any time soon.
Luuulz, imagine making the claim there’s no conspiracy and think that saying the majority of refs are bias against the refs WITHOUT a shred of evidence is somehow a superior and credible theory.

I always mock and ridicule conspiracy theorist.
But in this case it's the ones that deny the refs aren't hosing us are the conspiracy theorist.

1) Spotting the ball close to the first down marker and the most egregious and insidious.

Notice Dallas always gets the short end of the stick close to the marker. The opposing team almost always gets the close call. Very deceptive, very clever.

2) Holding calls on D Line and Parsons. Parsons never gets holding calls no matter how egregious.

3) Holding calls on receivers. This is random at best. Many egregious holds on recievers (removing Cee Dees underwear) are missed.

4) Tackling and holding linebackers (see Clark Miami game). Flat out holds and tackles on linebackers never called.

5) Ticky tack calls mostly on Tyler Smith and barely perceptible.

6) Ghost calls like the one on Parsons for late hit.
