Gave up the lead in a historically weak NFC East division, outside looking in on the playoffs.

Potential 3 straight years of being knocked out by a division rival.

Breaking all types of records for allowing historical comebacks. (440-1 stat)

Worst defense in team history.

22nd ranked offense with a 100M qb.

Stadium is always 30-40% full of opposing team fans.

Constantly being ridiculed and the butt of all jokes on the 24/7 sports news networks.

Players/coaches leaving the team disgruntled.

One of the worst salary cap situations in the league.

If this ain't rock bottom, I don't want to see what is.

We're still in the play-off hunt. If Philly knocks us out and gets in the play-off, then I'd say that would be rock bottom.

Jerry loves it though. He'll see this as the team "only being a few pieces away" and he knows he's the guy that can find those pieces

Rock Bottom?? Rock bottom was hit long ago. I think it was when Ryan Leaf was our starter. lol

No, I think this is overreaction. You can look at it as being so close, and we just keep coming up short, or or you can see it as "we're close" and every single year I choose the latter.

I mean are we excluding the 60s? Do people realize those teams were composed of what would today be like practice squad guys.

No way, they are still in denial. The entire organization thinks we just have bad luck and that we have the secret sauce. They don't even know they have a problem.

Can't be rock bottom because if we continue to lose then Garrett and his goon staff will be shown the door. Hopefully and this a big hopefully is Jerry will actually hire a real coach and not make him a puppet.

The difference between this and the 89 team is that there was no where to go but up for them. This team looks like it is on the precipice of a sharp decline.

Apparently you guys missed 1-15. best thing we got a maverick to buy the team and bring the glory years back. Oh wait... That was the other JJ Jimmy Johnson.

Rock bottom isn't a one point loss and a .500 record. Rock bottom is something like what the Giants saw today. Already eliminated from the playoffs, 5 picks and 0 points.

If our D doesn't improve quickly, our own rock bottom will be approaching. Next year could be a disaster if Jerry blows the draft.

If rock bottom is being essentially tied for first in your division, then I say we as fans have had it easy. Especially when I look at other teams who are 3-11, no draft picks, and their QB is benched for the remainder of the year *cough* skins *cough*.

Ware is done, Hatcher and Spencer are gone, and Lee will never stay on the field very long. Carter can't play in this system and we don't have a 3rd LBer worth a darn. George Selvie may be the best DLman left on the team before the draft next year. Let that sink in.

The safeties are garbage and the CBs completely overpaid to boot.

This defense doesn't get fixed in one year, maybe not two.

Until this core group of players continue their well worn paths.

Then the new coaches will be a puppet again.

Unfortunately no! It can get worse!
