Is this rock bottom for this franchise?

Not really.

All it would take is for one man to let go of his pride and ego, hire a real GM and HC and for the team to upgrade the defensive line and this team could make some noise. You give this team a legitimate pass rush and they're already in the playoffs with the East wrapped up.

Just MHO.

Yes I agree but Jerry Is not going to let go of his ego and do what needs to be done. If this team ever wins a championship it will be in spite of him.

I think we are only seeing the beginning of the wheels coming off this franchise. I see a couple one win seasons in our near future.

How so? Please elaborate.

The reality ( as much as I hate to say it), is that they are 1 game back in the division. And if they beat the Commanders and the Eagles win, once again they have a chance in a 'win and in' game. I'm actually hoping they implode once again next week and give the Eagles the division. It pains me to feel this way, but in the long run it's for the best. Ithink the Texans and Giants fit the 'rock bottom' mold better right now than the Cowboys. The Cowboys are scraping the bottom, and seem to be stuck in mediocre he**. And I think that's worse than rock bottom IMO.

Got it, although I can't agree. I'd like to see them win the next two but I'm not so sure they can. I was fooled into thinking the D may have figured something out the first half of yesterdays game and it may carry over over to the next two weeks but I was wrong.

I was also wondering about your spoiled fan reference unless I misunderstood your point. If anything, fans have been patient all these years. Just by what we're seeing in the game today with the advent of the salary cap and parity, the Cowboys should be on an uptick at some point. We're just stuck on average to below average.
