That's the whole thing in a nutshell. Dak is capable of excellence like he showed against Tampa, but the very same guy is also capable of a terrible performance like against Washington the week before. But then the team has produced back to back 12 W seasons. We've beat decent teams and struggled with poor teams. Up and down just like you said.

Actually Dak is a bad NFL QB. And he is not because of one bad game. He is because of evaluating his whole NFL career. One great game does not change that.

In deed he had a great game. But a great game for a bad NFL QB. If he were considered to be a good one this would have been another day at the office. Nothing special just an average outing you would expect your QB can give you even on a bad day.

So please i know how feelings work and i can only imagine how it has to be to be in love with a player. But Dak is nowhere near even average. Let him give us such kind of performances in every game for another year and you can put him in the upper tier of average NFL QBs.

I like Dak. But he won't be elite in my mind until he's ALOT better in the red zone and two minute drill. We do not need a effffing 14 play drive when there is 2:00 left on the clock.

I guessing you don't realize that Dallas is 1st in the league in Red Zone scoring efficiency at 73.33% KC 2nd at 69.44% Philly 3rd at 67.80%

If he keeps playing like he did Monday night in Tompa Bay. It would be good to talk about a 4th round pick that is in the elite category on my team. Josh Allen and Joe Burrow didn't look so "elite" in their close games to opponents that we thought they would demolish during "Super" Wild Card weekend, did they?
