Is this the most embarrassing loss?

One of the most demoralizing losses since I started watching early 90s. Losing to Sf in 94, Carolina in 96 hurt, but at least we were competitive (with important injuries in both games)…but dude, this was a bullying like I can’t remember, we aren’t in their league with that showing, and they rub it in (I live in the Bay Area too so it’s sucks worse)……we were supposed to be at least competitive, we regressed from last year and that is a blow to the years confidence. And now Micah running his mouth oblivious to how out matched they were….dude is delusional and listening to his praises way too much.

The problem is it didn’t embarrass the folks it should’ve. Tweedle Dee and Tweedle dum. They’re still delusional our QB is going to take this team all the way.
Yup, the players and coaches should be ashamed of that performance……Micah thinks they beat themselves lmao.

Any loss to the Eagles, no matter how much better than Dallas they are, is far more embarrassing.

As Lebowski states, I just hate... well, if you know the movie you know the line.

What is really sad is that whenever the Cowboys do win, I'm not going to care merely as much. There will always be the caveat that they couldn't win when it counted the most.

I can't think of a more embarrassing loss in the 45 years of following the Cowboys.
There have been game we should've won but came up short like the Giants 07 playoffs and Packers 16 playoffs.
We've been blown out before but those were teams that no one really expected much out of.
The game that mostly resembles this loss is ironically the 95 regular season loss to the 49ers.
We went into that game pretty cocky because Steve Young was hurt and Elvis Gerbac was starting and we got our butts whipped.
But at least that team had a history of success, they just had a bad day.
This 49ers loss was a total beat down on Primetime TV and after weeks of the team boasting how they had turn the corner and were ready to prove to the world that they were for real and wanted that Smoke.
Well, they didn't just have a Bad Day. They got overwhelmingly dominated in a fashion that proved they were no where close to being on the porch with the Big Dogs.
They are relegated to sleep under the porch with all the rest of the Beta Males while the Alphas sleep on the cushy patio furniture on the porch.
44-6 in 2008 was much worse

No.
To me the most embarrassing loss in recent history was to the expansion team, H. Texans, and the last game at the old Texas Stadium against the Ravens.

I don’t even see the Chiefs above the niners. Yes they have a better QB but it’s not like the Chiefs is humming like the Phins at this point. They have been getting calls the last 2 weeks to help them.

Bears loss in 85 (44-0) brought the fan base to reality that the Boys would not be competing for SBs again for a long time under that regime, even though they made the playoffs that year, they got destroyed by Dickerson and the Rams in the playoffs.

Thank god for Jimmy 4 years later.

A little bit more about that loss to the 0-11 Bills in 1984. That not only ended up costing Dallas a playoff spot, it ended a 9 year playoff streak for the Cowboys. It was also the first time the Cowboys had ever lost a game to the Bills.

That was the game Dickerson broke the single game playoff rushing record, and it is still the record to this day. It was so bad that it hasn't been duplicated in approaching 40 years.

44-0 Chicago. hands down.
I was coming in here to post that one, but you beat me to it. That one was the biggest embarrassment. After that, there was a loss to the Eagles sometime in about 2009 I think that was an awful blowout. After that, there's the Cowboys' 1970 MNF loss 38 to 0 against the St. Louis Cardinals.
...
But, at least for me, the Bears one was the worst. The '85 Cowboys were actually looking pretty good, and did end up winning the NFC East that year, but they were no match for the Bears.

44-6 versus the Eagles in a play in game for the playoffs. 34-3 Vikings playoff stomping. 44-0 loss to the Bears. The "No Danny, No!" Loss to the Commanders. Those were all more embarrassing.

Giants game was a heartbreaker for sure…I was there and messed me up for weeks. But I wouldn’t call it embarrassing, just extremely disappointing. Especially since they ended up winning the SB.
its after the fact that we learned Giants won the superbowl. so if SF goes on and wins the superbowl, does it make this any lesser?

No because we lost 42-10. That’s embarrassing. Losing 20-17 in a playoff game against a playoff team isn’t IMO.
