It’s Time to Stop Underrating Dak Prescott

“As NFL.com’s Matt Harmon points out, Prescott’s completed 48.9 percent of his tight-window throws (defined as less than 1 yard of separation) this year, best in the NFL.

On throws 20-plus yards downfield, Prescott is 10 of 22 with three touchdowns, no picks, and a 131.6 passer rating, per Pro Football Focus, second behind Alex Smith. A full 63.5 percent of his total passing yards have come before the catch—third-most behind Jameis Winston and Russell Wilson.”

Man, Imagine if he actually had arm talent.

There isn't a single skill required to play NFL QB that Prescott is better at.

Quite right

He really pooped the bed. Just flat out blows

He’s no Romo......not even a Danny White

Step off. Anybody who thinks he’s any better than Wentz is just a koolaid drinking buffoon

This isn't the game to bring this agenda into. Dude was sacked 8 times

But you know this is all they have. Dak is going to play well more times than not. IF he has a bad game there's a reason. Today it was the terrible offensive line. But these guys have nothing else to hang their hat on.

How can he be overrated when you have idiots constantly talking about how "overrated" he is and him constantly have to prove he's a franchise qb?
Because you have idiots on the other side claiming that he's already a franchise QB?

In his rookie year he had arguably the best season of any quarterback in history.......those aren't the idiots who thinks that a guy like that is a franchise qb. Still having to prove he's a franchise qb in year 2? Despite him improving on last year? I wouldn't even worry about those idiots. Tell them to go watch tape of Clint Stoerner, Quincy Carter and Drew Henson to see what its like to be a rookie qb in Dallas.

He's a very good QB no doubt about it, however, truly great QBs can play well without running games -- think Brady / Rodgers / Brees / etc.

In the Denver game and this game the running game wasn't there and Dak looked VERY average.

He is a much better player than many here would have you think was constantly say he is over-rated, but he isn't a top 5-10 QB quite yet IMHO.

The next 5 games will tell us a LOT.
