The league hasn't announced exact start times, but has indicated that the games will both fall in the afternoon window. What time will the games play.
Well you are wrong. This is already decidedDoubt they'd play on Thanksgiving AND Christmas.
the dumpster fire that is likely to be the 2024 Cowboys may have burnt to a crisp by Christmas Dayit would make a lot of sense for someone who is paying a lot of money for a Christmas Day game to want the best possible results which would mean it would make sense to involve the Cowboys.
I used to love Monday Night Football outside of Sunday games (before the evening) but thinning out the schedule to cover multiple days outside Sunday afternoon has watered down consistently competitive aired games. I would sacrifice MNF if it meant condensing games to early and afternoon Sunday slots only if I had the power to enact that change.Football games should be played at noon and 3 every Sunday. No other time. Yuck.
The thread title has been edited again, this time to the exact wording of the MSN article's title.I’m not sure why the title was changed but the story was about the possibility of the Cowboys playing on Xmas not just “teams”.

everyone is getting off cable, to combat that they're going to put them where the people areHello stream. I will not be paying to watch a football game.
17 games is insane. This waters down the playoffs and shortens players carreers. That is just a sound bite any more. Once the season went to 16 games that was a big sign. Then 17 games was worse and soon 18 games which is insane IMO. Where is the extra bye week? Where are the expanded rosters?
Yeah! They arent making money, so this is a lot of needed relief for them. It’s a business. You own a business to make money. Quit all the whining.
The national games last year weren't that great.I used to love Monday Night Football outside of Sunday games (before the evening) but thinning out the schedule to cover multiple days outside Sunday afternoon has watered down consistently competitive aired games. What time will the games play.
Last year the three Xmas Day game starts were 1pm EST/12 Noon CST, 4:30pm EST/ 3:30 pm CST, and 8:15 pm EST / 7:15 pm CST.If it's two games that day my guess is that one would be 3pm CST and the other a 7:30pm game.
I remember sitting down and watching New England play Pittsburgh on Thursday Night Football last December. It was a rough watch. The national games last year weren't that great.
Question......does this mean teams playing Xmas day ( Wed ) won't have another game for almost a week and a half??? Also, my guess is they would play a Thursday night game prior to their Xmas Day game. I can't imagine a team playing on Sunday and having another on Wed.Last year the three Xmas Day game starts were 1pm EST/12 Noon CST, 4:30pm EST/ 3:30 pm CST, and 8:15 pm EST / 7:15 pm CST.
Expect the first game at 430 EST/ 3:30 CST, and the second game to begin at 8:15 pm EST/ 7:15 CST.
NFL announced teams playing on Wednesday, Christmas Day, would play the previous Saturday to have the same amount of time when teams play on Thursday following a Sunday.Question......does this mean teams playing Xmas day ( Wed ) won't have another game for almost a week and a half???
