What kinda reasoning is this? So is it once you reach a certain wealth you have to stop?Yeah! They arent making money, so this is a lot of needed relief for them.

Fox, ABC, NBC and CBS are not cable. Easily obtained with a $50 antenna. The NFL has completed the final step of greediness where they will take the "broadcast" payday over viewers.everyone is getting off cable, to combat that they're going to put them where the people are
That isnt what my comment meant. But to be answer you....i say make as much money as you can within the law and ethics. Its up to the consumer to abide or not. What kinda reasoning is this? So is it once you reach a certain wealth you have to stop?
You’re freaking out over nothing. Besides democracy needs capitalism and vice versa. That isnt what my comment meant. But to be answer you....i say make as much money as you can within the law and ethics. Its up to the consumer to abide or not.
However...there is a point that some people get locked out of even basics of "american dream". My 31 year old daughter has a fine job but cant afford these modern home prices. Ive advised her to wait it out and save up..a crash of one form or another is inevitable.
A football game? Well have at it...if everything goes pay per view and i cant afford it....gues im just sol then.
If this is the way of things as a society, there will indeed be only two classes in the extremes left standing.
I have to be careful because in this forum that discussion can easily go into prohibited areas but thats all part of the plan my man. Ill leave it thereThat isnt what my comment meant. That is 100% true for reception in urban areas where those network affiliates are locally based. Households in rural areas cannot either get good reception or consistent dependable reception with even more expensive over-the-air antennas.Fox, ABC, NBC and CBS are not cable. I hear you on both points. I think that is as much as i dare say.....rightly so.I have to be careful because in this forum that discussion can easily go into prohibited areas but thats all part of the plan my man. Ill leave it there
Thread title says "Cowboys could play," hence I stated I doubt they (referring to the subject Cowboys) would play on both Thanksgiving and Christmas. Read, don't scan.Well you are wrong. This is already decided
Its not me thats freakin out. I answered your freak out question. You’re freaking out over nothing. Besides democracy needs capitalism and vice versa.
Those rural folks are not gonna watch on Netflix because they probably don't have good enough internet, or internet at all. Also, their numbers are small and don't move the needle anymore. That is 100% true for reception in urban areas where those network affiliates are locally based. Some folks wanting reliable, uninterrupted television service require cable or satellite reception. Then the cable or satellite provider will usually provide local channels at an added cost.
It’s Freaky MondayIts not me thats freakin out. I answered you freak out question.
I did not ignore what you said about the NFL's greediness. That is obvious and something I have commented about myself at times. I hoped the 'Poor people need not watch anyway, they can't afford a ticket or gear.' was a joke and not callousness. I did not think it was necessary to elaborate on it for that reason. My mistake if it was not intended as a joke. Those rural folks are not gonna watch on Netflix because they probably don't have good enough internet, or internet at all. I did notice you ignored the most important part of my post.
I wasn't meant to be callous, just real. I am finally at a point where I can afford to go to games and buy merch and attend concerts and then the prices tripled in the last four years.I did not ignore what you said about the NFL's greediness. Understood.I wasn't meant to be callous, just real. I am finally at a point where I can afford to go to games and buy merch and attend concerts and then the prices tripled in the last four years.
I gave up, no more money out of me. Cannot imagine how "average" earners can do it. Anyway, rant over.
If the NFL could figure out a way, there would be a game on TV every day.One benefit of living in 2024 is having every major sporting event on earth only a few mouse clicks away - for free.
Re the plans for an 18-game season: You'd think the player's union would object? Compared to the 14-game season a lot of us grew up with, the players are basically putting in an extra campaign every four years.
Has a pro football game every been played on a Tuesday or Wednesday?
