It is setting up nicely for a run

Would you be saying this if Dallas could just learn to punch it in the endzone? All year long i've seen them drive down the field, but just cant punch it in. Dallas playing like dallas wouldnt have this problem.
Again, what does “Dallas playing like Dallas” mean? 8-8? Mediocre? Because that has pretty much defined this team for the past several years.

I’m just thankful we still have another meaningful game. Nothing worse than season over before Thanksgiving.

Back end of our schedule is weak with colts, bucs, and giants. If we go 3-1 over this next stretch (Falcons, Washington, Saints, Eagles), it sets up nicely for us.

Ya can't believe they wouldnt just run up the gut 3 times in a row at the end there...

Well, lets see, hum, I call on 1st and 10, play option to Zeke, WHO their D was sitting on, and pass a quick out or slant. Move up 5 maybe 7 yds, or even a RPO, anything but a run UP in their D. That now sets up that stupid out quick pass to Beez, who then gets us the 1st down and game over.... but what the hell do I know.

It means they will be bringing their A game on Sunday.

You have to favor the Falcons in this game. Better team, at home, coming off of a loss.

But they dont have Adrian Clayborn anymore.

Who knows which Cowboys team shows up weekly. I just know the one we saw yesterday better show up against Atlanta. They certainly won't stop at 20 points if it doesn't. Especially coming of a loss to Cleveland and playing at home.

No the team will lose to the Falcons and Saints and screw up at least one more game. 8-8 at best

Yawn...…...give it a rest already. That was a great game last night, but that was about as out of character as you will ever see from Garrett and Linehan with regards to play calling and coaching. No doubt they will be right back to conservative, non creative BS next game.
Could be but it is what you choose to make of it. Have they turned the corner? I have no idea but I did see them do what they had to do or this season would be over.

Is that what you want Roy, the season to be over after 9 games? If they win in ATL, no easy task, the last time we got them there with their season on the line, they kicked our butts and if the Texans beat the Skins, we get a TDay game that matters. We get an East showdown game that is a holler back to the past and that matters, that's not a yawn.

I would rather us turn around the season and the Oline to play like they did last night and for Clappy the clown to find his stones every week like he did last night. But I have watched these fools too long to know that it doesn't last.

Even a Win in ATL doesnt mean jack if they cant win the next two against Saints and Commanders too. They basically Need to win 7 of 8 to have a Chance for the Playoffs from here on out or hope that the Division keeps sucking and that the injuries are taking a toll on the Skins so 8-8 or 9-7 gets you in.

Could be, we'll see. But what would a loss have done for us?

I don't know. I was rooting for us to win while at the same time providing the Eagles with another nail in their coffin.

As for the season I think we now might win 7-8 games instead of 6-7 games.

But I will concede a point. If 8-8 or 9-7 wins this division, then yah we have an outside shot.

But that is NOT how I want to make the playoffs. I would rather lose out and get rid of Garrett then make the playoff because our division is terrible. So what is the outcome of that scenario for you?

We go 9-7 and make the playoffs. We get embarrassed the very first game and lose. Garrett gets a shiny new 5 year deal and Dak gets a 7 year 200mm contract?

No thank you.

And don't give me the line that...………….."anything can happen once you make the playoffs"

BUT...……..I will concede ANOTHER point. If Frederick somehow came back in week 14 to solidify the line, then I might not be opposed. :)

Plus Dak might have PTSD.

I'm not sure Atlanta is better than Dallas though. Their defense has been hit hard with injuries.

Could be but it is also possible they could go 10-6 and win the East. I am just leaving the possibilities out there to extend the season. If I was as certain as you seem to be of failure, I wouldn't waste my time.

At least for now, I choose to look at the possibility of 4-5 and 2-1 in the division as opposed to 3-6 and 1-2.

with a ton of injuries....we have a shot....but like many here, i want to see 2 in a row before i get even remotly excited.

I want to get into the playoffs however we can. Anyone can win it all if they get in. See, Giants, New York (x2).

Yah, I don't believe in that line. Some team doing it once in 100 years doesn't seem like great odds to me. And the Giants defense was all world when they did that down the stretch. Ours isn't.

I wouldn't go that far and there are reasons why NYG did it, their DL got healthy at the right time.

I do not have DAL in the top 6 and I do not see having them in the top 4 ahead of NO, LAR, GB or MIN in the end but I do want to make the playoffs to at least keep it interesting.
