MNF and TNF should go away. Sadly, we’re probably more likely to see another night added rather than a night taken away.

cmon man after a long monday workday, it's nice to come home and watch a game. that concept is not going away. witten needs time to get better. not everybody can transition as quickly as romo did.

Agree..Don't think Witten is as bad as everyone is saying....It's Booger that's killing it for everyone. The guy just runs his mouth to hear himself talk.

I love Witt but this is not his forte. It doesn’t sound natural - he speaks in a choppy manner a lot of times.

NBA and MLB makes it in on cable network 7 nights a week.

If the NFL can handle the lower ratings who cares if they’re still on or not?

They keep trying to inflate a flat tire and there are just some ideas that have an expiration date. I believe this is one of them.

Joe Tessitore, Jason Witten and Booger McFarland are trying too hard and I believe it's been impressed on them that this is a desperate situation. ESPN is bleeding from the jugular because of the rights fees and now that the NFL has turned on them and decided to put better games on TNF, this has run it's course.

I grew up with MNF, it was indeed special to me for many years and actually allowed me to get my wife interested by created indigenous dishes for the team we were rooting for but after 10 years, even that went to rest.

When MNF was born, there weren't Thursday college games or NFL ones, the number of college games were 1/3 of what they are today and I wonder if people, not fans of the two teams playing, are "footballed out" by Monday.

I was looking forward to listening to Witten do these games because he is one of my favorite Cowboys ever but he is just terrible as an analyst and I turned the audio off and just put on some tunes for the DEN-KC game. He is actually detracting from the game.

Sometimes, you have an old friend that you've loved dearly, like a good pet, and it becomes evident that it is time to end their suffering. This needs to end.
I love to watch football. Witten is not great, but he's not bad. I've heard worse. Maybe youre just getting to old to stay up this late!!! Lol!

All comes down to the green. FOX took over TNF and look at the difference in the games and they're even promoting that "it's a game now". MNF might be the first one to go all internet.

Out of all of the Networks who broadcast the NFL, I would say that ESPN comes in last. They're just better at broadcasting college football.

I’m ok with it and I’ll be ok if it’s not on.
It’s not must see anymore.
But it has become must not listen to now. Gruden was a chore for me to listen to but it seems apparent, at least to me, that these guys are on alert that it is on life support and they're trying to inject excitement.

Watching 5 Tv ‘s most of the time I rarely listen to announcers anyway.

I don’t have MNF on my main tv tonight.

So announcers aren’t an impact for me.

Agree with all of the above.....it has its problems but today isn't the day to complain because we actually have two solid teams playing. Witten will get better. I have no problem with them.

Since when does an announcer make a game?

This is a good game and matchup tonight. Turn the sound off if it bothers you that much .
