It varies from time to time, and the jury is still out, but as of this minute it isn't looking like Mo was worth the trade up. Thoughts?

I think he will usually be hampered with some sort of injury, i.e. soft. There will be excuses for his play from week to week for some ailment. I loved the trade-up at the time and that love is drowning. I didn't think I would miss Jenkins :(

Mike Jenkins was getting caught on just as much, if not more than Mo. We just need a new bad guy ala Felix Jones. You think Claiborne is soft, then what was Mike Jenkins, who made a conscious move to avoid tackling? Mo hasn't been spectacular, but he's been solid. The 49ers just hung 35 on the rams and we hung 31 on them the week before, so I'm not sure you'd want to switch corners with them. Their pass coverage isn't looking that much better.

I'd rather have either Jenkins over Mo right now, tbh.

Is there a relatively unknown and/or young guy that he can cover?

He's looked bad.

I hate to say it but it seems like Mo is looking like a bust. Every QB that I saw this year is picking on him and his not able to make any plays on the ball yet. I think they should just let these two corners play man. Let them maul receivers at the LOS. Thats what their supposed to be doing right?

If that was to me, then I will respond. Mike Jenkins was a better corner than Mo for this team(at this point). That "business decision" is blown out of proportion and it would have not stopped that TD.

As for Mo, he looks like a better man-to-man corner, not in zone, something this team does not run much. Yea, I'll take Jenkins in that situation.

Teams have scored over 30 points on the rams every game they've played except one, and in that game they've scored 24. We held the Chiefs to 17 despite them having excellent field position all game. If Janoris was this monster corner, the score would have been flipped. We would have been held to 7 points.

Claiborne actually goes up to guys and makes tackles. He had one solid tackle against Gates. When he got trucked against Jamaal Charles, he actually attempted to make the tackle, but that's 'soft'. On the other hand, it's fine for Mike Jenkins to completely move out of the way of the runningback and that's not soft? The very reason we even went to get Mo was because we were getting lit up through the air... so obviously Jenkins wasn't this unbelievable near shut-down corner like this forum seems to be proposing.

Guys want Janoris Jenkins, and the rams have given up over 30 points in all except 1 game, and in that game they've given up 24 points? On the other hand, we keep the Chiefs to 17 points despite them having excellent field position all game... held the rams to 7. Against the giants, they hurt us through the air, but the game shouldn't have been nowhere near close after the defense gives you 2 turnovers for scores and an additional 4 opportunities to the offense via turnover. Mo's guy caught a few passes this game, but it was the linebackers who were really getting lit up. 2 touchdowns on Carter by Woodhead and 1 on Lee by Gates. That accounts for 21 points. Should we trade Lee and Carter as well? Mo's become the new Felix Jones and Martellus Bennett, aka the guy we need to lay the blame on.

We've constantly made every single change you can think of. Got rid of all of the 'problem players', got rid of the defensive coordinator. Shored up the O-line. The only two constants on this team have been Romo and Garrett.

Is he the "worse" CB in the league?

Based on what information?

Look at all the penalties and pass interferences Jenkins has had this year . Go watch the guy play he is garbage . You'd be delusional to say Jenkins is better this season .

What's your information on Jenkins leading the league in penalties and PI ?
