Every time SD faced a 3rd down yesterday, I said to my Dad who was watching with me, "Rivers just has to hit the guy being covered by Claiborne and its a sure first down." More often than not, that's what he did.

I'll be honest, Last year or any other year a loss like yesterday would have enraged me. Yesterday, or the loss to the Chiefs, it doesnt even bother me. Don't know if its getting older, or if Jones and his sad sack of losers have sucked the interest out of me. The Cowboys were beaten from pillar to post yesterday by a mediocre team. That 2nd half was shameful, but honestly not surprising given the same group of guys that continue to come up short year after year after year.

Babe was really letting Claiborne have it yesterday commenting n exactly what you said....he just repeatedly pointed out that rivers is just looking at Claiborne every play.

What a sad state of affairs.

I've officially given up on Mo. If he turns it around, awesome. I don't see anything in his play to get excited of hopeful about.

Mike Jenkins was getting caught on just as much, if not more than Mo. We just need a new bad guy ala Felix Jones. You think Claiborne is soft, then what was Mike Jenkins, who made a conscious move to avoid tackling? Mo hasn't been spectacular, but he's been solid. The 49ers just hung 35 on the rams and we hung 31 on them the week before, so I'm not sure you'd want to switch corners with them. Their pass coverage isn't looking that much better.

The Jenkins stick about being soft is old. His last year here for example, he was playing with a totally banged up shoulder. The guy is the exact opposite of what the crowd that hates him claims.

Saw this coming as soon as we traded up.

I guess his wonderlic score is translating to the field after all...

Well, did anybody really accept the front-office spin on the 4 he scored in the Wonderlic?

Remember Claiborne's quote after the test results became public? Here it is "I mean, I looked on the test and wasn't nothing on the test that came with football, so I pretty much blew the test off," Claiborne said."

Similar to how he said he isn't going to make adjustments to his game for anyone after the Chiefs loss?

It varies from time to time, and the jury is still out, but as of this minute it isn't looking like Mo was worth the trade up. Thoughts?

Hes is better in Man and press coverage, not in zone coverage. Its not his fault we changed the scheme, but you are right hes not looking comfortable out there.

The guy just doesn't look athletic enough to get it done at the position, he doesn't look like a fluid athlete, way too stiff.

How many peple didnt like the Frederick pick? Everyone likes or dislikes our picks. Some have merit others are just opinions and its accepted either way. Who didnt like the Brandon Carr signing? Now some people like the player but not the cost, some just flat out dont like the player, but it happens. Theres no use ruining your day over it, its done and in the books. And i dont see many trades unless you are fleecing someone or you are cleaning house. The trent trade still boogles me.

So far Mo has been a big flop with his injuries and disappointing play looks nothing like the player I expected. Although it's still early he's looking like a player who will not be seeing a second contract with the team.

another reason i think the scouting team just needs to be relocated. if they figure it out great, if not, a nice office is siberia is awaiting them. I know its not the popular thought, but i am really am done with them.

so far the new ST coach isnt great, but its been better. Im not liking Callahan as much on offense, but the line is doing better than i expected. The defense has been good and has kept us in games, so i cant really complain there. All of these changes i have supported tho, but now i really want the scouting department blown up. Its an over reach, ill give you that, but if the results are the same or slight better, i feel its worth it.

This post game quote from Claiborne baffles me

"It was a very hard day," Claiborne said. "Any time they're throwing to a side, you guys are going to say that's Mo's side anyway. They hit passes over there, so why not take it? They hit a couple of plays all over the field, but obviously they found more over there on the right side."

Does anybody know what he's saying?
