I went into this thread thinking that it would actually discuss QBs in this year's draft.

If we have a top 5 pick, we trade back to 10-15 (grab Treadwell or Nkemdiche)....use those picks we gained from the trade to get back into the end of the 1st round and draft Wentz.

2 big problems with this.First this draft is not top heavy,i dont see a lot of teams wanting to trade into the top 5.I agree that Wentz can go in the first Rd but lot of other team want a QB and they will have the same idea of trading up into the first RD.

The other problem is that it's a risk that Treadwell or Nkemdiche would be there in the 10 to 15 range. I've seen a lot of mocks have them in the Top 10.

I don't mind the "trade back into the first round for Wentz" scenario, assuming he's a good enough player.

But even in that scenario, we should use the top 5 or 6 pick on an elite prospect, not trade down for more picks. You don't get the chance to draft an elite prospect every year.
