Would it be good? No. Would it be worse than losing a non conference/out of division game? Yes. Is the season over or doomed? Absolutely not. I expect them to win and they probably should, but I'm not going to panic if they don't or declare a season doomed off of the 1st game. It's as big of an overstatement as someone can make.

It doesn't guarantee success, but it's a hell of a lot better chance than a chick who doesn't care/like the Cowboys. I once dated an Eagles fan. Once I found that out, the relationship made a lot more sense.
