It's hard for me to care about football/Cowboys anymore

It’s really about Jerry wanting to work with his family more than anything else. It’s not about making the right moves versus the family moves. Sure, they would like all that nepotism to pay off with a championship. But, it’s not at the top of his list. He summed it up pretty nicely in his “Landman” appearance.

I wanted to watch that series but after hearing about Jerry's cameo I don't know I will. I was trying to watch the fake fight between Tyson and Jake Paul and the moment I saw Jerry I just turned it off. He instantly irritates me now. I'm tired of seeing his stupid face.

Maybe I'm just getting old and loosing interest but this is the first season I can remember someone asking me what time a game was on and I had no clue. Also, switched many games to redzone, cared more about my fantasy team this year.

You're definitely getting old, and you're definitely losing interest, BUT that's because the product sucks.

Give us something exciting and gratifying to watch and those interest levels spike back up.

Some of you guys take this way to seriously. I took it seriously when I played or coached....I had control and it paid the bills....the Cowboys are just a distraction and entertainment. Sure, I want to win a SB every year, but I sure as hell know that I have no input or control...so, I take it with a grain of salt. I used to let it get to me, now the only thing I don't like are the negative nancies, although they keep it humorous....

Same here, I won't watch it now. He's a horses behind and I can't stomach looking at him or listening to him. Same goes for his moron kid.

It's high time for this organization to wake up to the fact that the entirety of those involved in the workings of this team must change their ways. Whether it takes hiring more capable candidates for the team, or those in the staff and the FO, better and bolder decisions are a need.

This is kind of how I'm looking at it. Been a fan since 75. Used to cry after losses. It was always SB or bust. The Garrett years and the last few offseason have ruined me and how I feel. I don't want another team so I just enjoy football. Now I watch this team through the eyes of driving by a car wreck while still hoping it changes one day.
I tend to laugh at it. Only way for me to get through it.

last offseason/season have really done a number on me. I get almost no joy from watching or following The Cowboys anymore, I’m checking into podcast/groups out of 20yrs of habit. I don’t see any evidence that the joneses actually care about winning, Jerry seems much more interested in being a star and Stephen seems to take a cowardly approach to everything. I’m a fan of Dallas because I’m from DFW but I don’t want to be a fan of a team that has 0 motivation to win championships. It would be a different story if I could point to things that the organization is doing to try and win but I can’t find any.
You are not alone. It's just so boring now.

sadly it will probably continue to be boring, if he extends MM or makes Zimmer HC, or brings kellen back ,plus they will not
be active in FA, not like is needed.
Dak lamb and parsons, and the others he pays big will be here, not much else.

Jerry loves attention, and talking, being interviewed is his favorite thing.
If the media would stop interviewing him that would drive him crazy! That is why he does the radio show, they should ban him.

Sadly though we are stuck with the jones family forever, unless nfl makes him sell the team, and they wont do that .
Just accept the team as it is because it isnt going to change.

If he had hired bellichik last year, I would have renewed hope and interest, but now I just watch to see them get beat during season or lose in playoffs.

Cowboys fan for 30 years, feel the same.

Last offseason really drove home for me the Jones don’t care; I never truly felt that before.

It is seriously hard to give energy to this team. I straight up missed at least 5-6 random games this year. My heart is in it just as much as the Jones boys and tbh, I enjoyed being guilt free missing them on Sundays
