By the way kobe2jail, in Gosselin's latest mock he states that, "Bush was the top player on the draft board of 21 of 26 NFL teams polled by The Dallas Morning News this month."

Looks like a consensus to me. ;)

All those musclecars prices are shooting through the roof. Look at anything with a "Hemi" in it from back then and you will pay a bare minimum of 100 grand. The z-28 numbers matching go from anywhere from 40 to 100 grand depending on condition and every month I swear the prices keep going up.

Anyway, I just saw a scroll on Espn that said the people who rented bushs family that house are trying to get them to pay 3.2 million in damages and loaded bushs family alot of money, Also said that they told bush that if he didn't pay "Personal information about the bush family would get out. I seriously doubt that that factored into Houstons decision, but it looks like it is going to get ugly for bush

I think you can find the story on yahoo sports the scroll just said.

Heh heh heh. Maybe so, but not my consensus. Last "Can't miss" pick from USC was Mike Williams last year..........we all know how that turned out. I don't trust USC players, because I don't trust the Pac 10. A bunch of fancy lads out there that can't play ball.:laugh2:

I would not draft Bush in the top 10.

It was funny reading Gosselin's stuff about Bush and compare him to OJ. Unless my memory is really bad OJ played every down on offense.

Bush is a part time player guys.

To me he's like Clinton Portis/Brian Westbrook in the NFL. A really fast dangerous guy that will have some real limits between the tackles and struggle with heavy carries and durability concerns.

That aside Houston should have drafted Vince Young. He's a hometown kid and was the best player in college football last year.

Houston should have:
1. traded down w/ Jets
2. selected Young
3. selected Williams

Williams was a need for them and will make a fine player for them.

I must admit I feel the same way.

I loved Carson Palmer and gulp, Jacob Rogers but most Trojans I am leery of if only because of the Pac 10. I was not as high as most on Mike Williams last year. He caught passes when single covered by smaller defenders and
never ran great routes.

Lienart: Looks a little stiff and robotic. Reminds me a ton of Drew Bledsoe. Big, strong, great when players around him make catches and block for him.

Bush: Smallish, part time guy with great explosiveness. Possible character issues after the apparent housing issue and subsequent tall tales.

Justice: Nice athlete who needs experience, toughness and technique work. Probably a plus starter in 3 years but may have character concerns that hinder his development.

No one knows for sure what the future will bring. However, in Houston the careers of Vince Young, Reggie Bush and Mario Williams will forever be linked.

If all three turn out to be HOF material, then it will probably not matter much. If all did turn out to be HOF material though, I can imagine there would be some regret passing on Vince Young hometown hero QB.

that's a risk in every draft for those with the #1 overall selection

Now unless it is 3rd and 20 or third and 30, Vince Young will be able to pick the D apart with his arm, move around behind the line of scrimmage buying time and hit someone wide open downfield or take off and get 5-10 yards easily for the first down.

It is NOT about running for 100 yards in a game, it is about buying time with your mobility or taking off on third down to get the nail in the coffin first down.

Carr is pretty mobile, yet is still getting smacked around

can't run around the issue here, until HOuston fixes their Oline, they aint doing squat
