It's time for Micah to be given the opportunity to play running back on offense

That's it dog no country for Old Men ride it till the wheels fall off.

And bring that trophy home.

Hey the only thing I need now is the voice of Howard cosell but instead of OJ Simpson ripping off a huge run it would be Micah Parsons against the 49ers sending us to the super bowl can anybody think of anything better than that.

Oh my God the scared little sheep that know nothing about football did the internet tell you guys that because he played on defense that it would be impossible for him to take a hand off and do anything good with it.

What I do freaking know is in the last two games against the 49ers our running backs have had a total together of 100 yards in two games 50 yards a game with a 3-yard average.

All of you that are tucked deeply in your little boxes and can't think outside of them do you know what that equates to that equates to DAk having to put on the cape and take our one-dimensional offense to a whole nother level good luck with that.

No we didn't get Derrick Henry but we got something a lot better than what we're putting out there if we decide to use it.
You do know even good backs fumble the ball. Guys that have handled the ball all their lives. Then there is the countless hours of work they put in for ball security and the QB/RB exchange. While I can get on board with recognizing Parsons as a unicorn, that does not translate to handing the ball off to him on offense. Fun to talk about but unrealistic from a practical sense.

Tell that to the 85 bears that ran the fridge was that a totally ridiculous unrealistic proposition

Did he fumble did terrible things happen was he unable to play defense after that was he worn down did he get hurt.

No they freaking dominated like nobody's business.
lol, 5 carries 39 years ago, You got me.

Its like the more success we have the sillier the threads.

If we actually do well in the playoffs I wonder how crazy the ideas will get.

And that's all we may need is five carries maybe not that many.

But the willingness to put the best player on your team in a position to help you at the most important moment is key.

I love all you people that say how crazy it is to use Micah as a running back but have no reason why it's not a good idea other than we haven't done it yet.

And if we do it and all of a sudden he gets an important first down rips along run or takes the ball in for a touchdown it will be the greatest thing since canned beer.

I actually was thinking this when that Refrigerator Perry thread got started. lol
You know it brother you're from Pennsylvania you know how he was brought up and taught he could play any skill position well.

You know as well as I do where we come from when you have an athlete like that he plays wherever you need him.

He doesn't even play all the snaps on D, which he shouldn't, no way he's playing any O.

Just stop. Guy hasn’t played RB since HS. Great he’s fast. How’s he read a hole, how’s is pass pro, blitz pick-ups?
The idea that guys can just switch positions in the NFL because they did it in HS is a silly notion.

Go ahead and put him at RB. If I'm the DC I’m bringing a double A gap immediately.
He said he’s been taking reps at RB in practice for most of the year.

Oh the irony if he gets on the field on offense and gets called for holding, lol.
I could see that happening it would be seriously wrong but I could see it happening just cuz he's been saying something about the refs not calling it

Can’t imagine putting best defensive player in a spot where everyone on the field wants to hit him close to or right at his knees. I imagine the opposing teams would be thrilled if the Cowboys did it.

My goodness now he would just fall over from exhaustion if he took a snap at running back.

Sheesh are you kidding me if Micah had the chance he would be all over it..
He's got the whole off season to be tired at his age taking a couple snaps on offense would be nothing

They'd tackle him low even if he didn't have the ball.

With all respect quick there is no similarity between Deuce Vaughn a midget who scares no one as a blocker to moose Johnson.
Quickdraw said:
The running game would be a little better if we returned to the 2 back system. The other day when Pollard scored that 1 yard TD, he had Vaughn in front of him blocking for him. Similar to when Moose Johnson blocked for Emmitt. The other thing would be to use less shotgun/run. If it's a run, the back has no momentum before getting the ball.

Actually, it was Hunter Luepke, not Vaughn, doing the lead blocking for Pollard on that play. And, yes, I'd like to see more of that.
