It's time for Micah to be given the opportunity to play running back on offense

Dumb idea bruh!
Okay give me a solution to what we're going to do about our anemic running game if we play the 49ers in the NFC championship game in their house.

I don't see anybody with any ideas and don't tell me we're going to change some blocking scheme with our beat up banged up offensive line.

We got nobody with the power and athleticism on offense to get this job done so the whole thing will fall on Daks shoulders because we bring nothing new to the table.
Trust me I'm open for good ideas on how to fix this but this whole thread is full of people telling me how bad an idea this is with their head in their hands but no one has any clue how to fix it.

It’s too late to “fix” it now. We can go jumbo in certain situations and use the short passing game as a run game to get our RBs some room to work. We’re going to have to run it inside some and hope to pop a few to keep the D honest. Other than that there is now much we can do at this point to fix it.
BTW can we atleast wait to see if we or SF make it to NFC championship game???

Like it or not that's what either changes or it doesn't. Don't care who you have at RB if the Oline can't open a lane and get to the second level.

He looks like the most athletic guy on the field coming all the way from the quarterback to the point where the ball was fumbled and then running it back through everybody you just made my total point.
Actually it looks way better than any running back we have on the team at this point.
That's the kind of athleticism we need to beat the 49ers.

Nobody fears are no name running game.
I guarantee you you bring Micah Parsons in on offense and every eye in the stadium goes on him immediately.
His athletic ability is respected League wide give him the chance to be as great as he wants to be I don't think he'll disappoint us
No defense is respecting Micah Parsons at RB. It would be a novelty act at first and sure, they would key on him but Can Micah read the holes, have any RB vision, pick up blitz schemes? This is the NFL, 99% of the players are athletic, no matter the position. This doesn't mean they can all seamlessly transition to any position.

The worst idea is to go into San Francisco with the same game plan and running game that we've gone in there with the last three times
Different game plan doesn't mean experimental stuff at RB. Now a tricky play here. A trick play there. Maybe... UT then the defense is also aware.

CD lamb runs the ball quite a bit he's not a running back not even close to being built like one do defenses respect him can he pick up the blitz can he read the holes.

He's an incredibly talented athlete that's why he is used at running back Micah Parsons is an incredibly talented athlete who used to play running back and if CD lamb can run the ball there certainly is no reason why Micah Parsons can't run the ball.

Come on all the little geniuses with the head in the hands emoji

CD lamb has run the ball 14 times this year for 113 yd 8 yards of carry.
Now CD runs a 4.5-40. Micah runs a 4.39 at 246 lb. If CD is successful with 8 yd of carry why would Micah be a failure why would defenses not take him seriously why would it be a bad idea.
CD gets one or two runs a game why would it be some kind of a crime to give Micah a couple attempts a game and keep the defense off balance.

It wouldn't be and he would gain some yards because he's an incredible athlete and he's faster and stronger than anyone we have at running back.

Okay go back and hide your heads in your hands better yet stick your heads in the sand.

Agreed we should not need Micah against the Packers .The 49ers are our nemesis and limit our running game to 50 yards and 3 yards a carry this is where I believe we could use Micahs extraordinary athletic ability and we would probably be meeting them in the NFC championship game at which point in my mind it would be time to pull the stops out and do whatever it takes to get to the super bowl.
I want to apologize for my comments earlier. The Lord convicted me of my statement, which was unnecessary. I'm trying to be different than the guy I used to be, arguing with posters at the drop of disagreement and insulting anonymous Internet users.
Peace.

No problem brother we're all on the same side here hoping our team makes it a little further.

Not to fear I'm not thin-skinned I know everyone gets a little emotional about their opinions when they're talking about their favorite team. I am certainly as guilty as anyone.

Just had a thought and had to throw it out there it doesn't seem well received by many but I hope we figure out something to bolster our running game.

I've been thinking about this for a while and I believe not necessarily in the Green Bay game but if we make it to the NFC championship against the 49ers Micah Parsons should play running back on offense.
In a limited role
We are going to need a power running game to win that game and he is our Eric Dickerson he played running back in high school he has four three speed in a 240 lb body.
And he is by far the best athlete on our team if we get that far I think it's time to pull the stops out and make him our Derrick Henry.
There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that he is a stronger runner than Pollard.
This along with the fact that Micah wants to be great wants to be the greatest player to play the game this would give him that opportunity to play both ways and I don't think we'd be disappointed it could take us over the top.

A couple successful runs from Micah straight arming guys into the ground and at worst he would be the ultimate decoy when he came in the game every eye on defense would be on him.

Thoughts and please no cry babies telling me that he's going to be worn down and it'll be too much for him Chuck bednarek played linebacker and center game after game I'm sure Micah could do this for two games
No.
