It's time for Micah to be given the opportunity to play running back on offense

I've been thinking about this for a while and I believe not necessarily in the Green Bay game but if we make it to the NFC championship against the 49ers Micah Parsons should play running back on offense.
In a limited role
We are going to need a power running game to win that game and he is our Eric Dickerson he played running back in high school he has four three speed in a 240 lb body.
And he is by far the best athlete on our team if we get that far I think it's time to pull the stops out and make him our Derrick Henry.
There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that he is a stronger runner than Pollard.
This along with the fact that Micah wants to be great wants to be the greatest player to play the game this would give him that opportunity to play both ways and I don't think we'd be disappointed it could take us over the top.

A couple successful runs from Micah straight arming guys into the ground and at worst he would be the ultimate decoy when he came in the game every eye on defense would be on him.

Thoughts and please no cry babies telling me that he's going to be worn down and it'll be too much for him Chuck bednarek played linebacker and center game after game I'm sure Micah could do this for two games
That'd be like sending your QB out to return kicks, not advisable.

It's crazy that everybody and their dog knew we needed a more powerful back in the mix and everybody except for a few dullards knew that we needed upgrades on the OL,,, way back in training camp and draft time we knew this! I realize Jerry and Co are trying to manage the upcoming cap hits but this was stoopid. We've got a monumental opportunity in front of us but odds are we're going to be too soft to cash in.

This is the worst idea I’ve ever seen put forward in any fan forum of any team I follow.
The worst idea is to go into San Francisco with the same game plan and running game that we've gone in there with the last three times

Why stop there. Let’s really trick it up.
Send Micah, Tyler smith, and Steele over to the refs at the same time and really confuse the niners as to what is coming!!!
That would be cool but I don't think McCarthy is quite stubborn enough to go for the two-point conversion three times in a row.

I just got to think at some point he would kick the extra point and screw up the whole thing

Does it matter who gets hit in the backfield? The RB’s aren’t the problem

This is not the point of the season for experimentation.
Might put him in once and run a play action lol
No chance in handing him the football. Every year he’s wore down late so the last thing I want to do is put him at RB

I can. See it now. Play action pass to Micha, the cheating up safety bites hard streaking down middle wide open CD catches a huge 90 yard TD. Flag on field.

Holding #11 offense.
Man.. actually did make me LOL.. funniest post of the new year.

Hey guys, RB is easy to do, lets try to get our best defensive player injured as most of the opposing defense tries to bend him in new ways.

Rbs have to bend certain ways, they get way more and more opp for players to get injured.

The time for experiments is over, this is do or die, not ride and die and think its fun.

I couldn't do it. First and foremost he doesn't have any experience as a ball carrier. Secondly I'm not letting opposing defenses tee off on my franchise player.
Valid argument.

I agree it's definitely do or die problem is our running game against San Francisco has been dead in all three games that we have played them dead as a freaking door nail.

Someone please tell me what have we done to improve things so the outcome will be different.

In a perfect world wouId I want to risk Micah playing him at running back hell no.

BUT THIS IS JERRY'S FREAKING WORLD WHERE HE KEEPS US A COUPLE PLAYERS FROM BEING ABLE TO GET TO THE BIG GAME!!!!

The only reason we could possibly get to the NFC championship game is because the eagles totally spit the bed.

We haven't reached that game in three decades does that give any of you little cry babies that are worried about Micah a perspective on how hard it is for us to get there.

So in spite of ourselves if we do get there we are still unprepared to play that team.

Micah is the only player on our team athletic and skilled enough to bring us through this and get us over the top so yes for one game which very well could be the last game of the year I want him to be able to run the ball.

Here's another question if Micah didn't believe he was capable of running the ball at an NFL level he would decline the opportunity.

Micah certainly would not take a chance on making a total and complete fool of himself.

I believe Micah would jump at the chance to be able to run the ball on offense I think he would be over the top through the roof and come out of the tunnel like Ray Lewis.
I believe he has every confidence in his athletic ability and what he's capable of doing and would not take on any task if he thought he was going to hurt the team or embarrass himself

People being worried about Micah getting injured is a justified concern.

Does anyone believe that he can't run the ball as well as anyone we currently have on the team

Another one with his head in his hands and that's how it will end up with no running game .

Truly amazing group of fans here no one has any plan on how to change our anemic running game against the 49ers.

But everybody's afraid to death to run Micah.
