We wonder why we so far behind the Eagles and Commanders are now on the tip of our a_____. Yet we have fans consitently ripping our best players.....trade, release, bench.

Pretty much.

You want to field a SB caliber team? You don't piss away talents like Parsons.

I mean there was a time when there were people on this board thought Lamb was soft, a diva, a baby, not elite and that we should trade him, not re-sign him, etc. People get way too emotional here, especially with our better players. Looks like Parsons is the next one to get that treatment from some fans.

The only logical argument as to why we should not continue with Parsons is if one believes the entire roster needs to be blown up and rebuilt and having Parsons won't change the trajectory because the rest of the team stinks around him.

He’s a one trick pony and his one trick only works against bad teams.

He’s horrible in run support and can’t play a full drive without coming out a few plays.

He can have games where you wouldn’t know he was playing if you wasn’t looking for him.

He's NEVER been the guy that made a big play when the defense needed it.

He looks completely disinterested when he or the team isn’t playing well.

He, more so than any player I’ve seen, has “will quit when paid” written all over him. He has too much outside of football stuff going on and adding generational wealth to it will only make it worse.

There is NO WAY I make him the highest paid defensive player ever.
In the end, who cares as Jerry will make him the highest-paid Def player in the league.
Remember my brother this is Dallas and the Circus runs daily.

Read what he wrote. He never wrote about "....trade,bench,release."

The problem with some "fans" is that they dont read or/and arent able to understand. But then post wrong stuff somewhere else or in reply. Its funny on one hand because people can read the full respone including the original post: i can just imagine how embarrassing this must feel for you. Especially when you attack the original poster with reasons based on your misunderstanding.

Its a big problem if you dont think before you write. Its even a bigger problem if you are not even able to understand well written simple stuff.

If you are not able to understand simple stuff you are certainly not the one to listen to when you try to judge players.

Can you prove this as factual or just repeating what others have said? I have yet to see a poster back this up with facts......

** what "big games"
** what metrics are we using?
** how many "big games"
** he can impact games w/o stats......it's called opening opportunties for teammates
Go back and watch the the following playoff games GB and the last two SF and tell us how impactful he was because he no showed. Do those count as "big games"? BTW he sure didnt exactly sound broken up about football being a business and him getting traded. It would probably be better for "his brand" to go somewhere he could win a championship.

Was listening to Falcons crash last night and radio man described Dorrance Armstrongs “fifth sack” of the year as if LC Greenwood was back on the field . Let’s pump the brakes on getting rid of the Cowboys Fred Dean prototype .

You're a one trick pony, too...same negative posts over and over and over again....yeah, you're right, he sucks, he doesn't deserve to be here. Two peas in a pod.

He’s got a lot of frontrunner in his DNA but I’d still like to see him with some actual help in the middle of the defense.

I got news for fans . All players take plays off on the sidelines . From Barkley to Dowdle to Bosa to Watt to Parsons . It’s part of the game . You would hope the GM constructed the team so a Carl Lawson is out there or Kneeland a 2nd round pick . It’s called “ depth “ .

New punching bag? With overcoming and injury, playing along side a rotation of jags and a change of defensive scheme --- to making a difference immediately, I'd say you pay you playmakers.

I read what he wrote... twice It's pretty obvious he doesn't think Parsons should have a future as Dallas Cowboy and that's fine. I disagree.....
I'm not getting into who's right or wrong.....both are opionions. I respect his and hope he can repsect mind, if not, so be it.

As always, plenty of overstatement on both sides.

Yes, Parsons is an incredible talent and great pass rusher, but it's also fair to say he is a one-trick pony. In a close game or when we're behind when the other team can run the ball, too often he's practically invisible.

I don't think he's going anywhere, but I do think it's fair to ask him to play the run better and to get in better condition where he isn't gasping for air at critical moments. IMO he needs to train with the team in the offseason and not be in Austin or wherever with his private guy letting him do whatever and travelling around the world sumo wrestling. (Though in Jerry's world where the stars call the shots, I doubt that happens.)
