It's time to bench Zeke and play Cook

I still would have used Zeke on that goal line attemp, Rico is not that effective on short yardage and seems a bit propense to fumble.
 
Zeke has produced 134 yards this year on 36 touches, over 5 games.

He's basically here to spell Dowdle at this point. I suspect Cook would essentially be filling the same role. Somebody has to do it, and nobody knows - except, perhaps, for the coaches close to the situation - if Cook would offer any improvement.

or maybe he just has a shoulder injury. What is he 29? Hes not 69.

You will NEVER convince me any coach can tell what a player will do based upon PRACTICE. Wasnt Guyton an all pro this training camp?

I was fine with bringing Elliott back to give him a try. But I'd also like to see us give Cook a shot because it appears that Elliott is exactly what we feared he would be. It isn't like we're looking at subbing in an unknown for him. We know Cook knows how to play but might be cooked too. Might as well use his call-ups to find out. If he is, then we can stick with Zeke as Dowdle's sub, knowing we're not going to get much more out of it than breathers for Dowdle, or give Vaughn a try.

We should have never brought him back. This is Jerry messingt around and not knowing whwt his doing. I'm still fuming that Jerry didn't go aftter Derrick Henry.

Zeke isnt getting any carries because Big Mike is butt hurt at Jerry.

we almost lost the game because of Rico.

Big Mike gonna be gone anyways.

Following the depth chart, Zeke would not be the sacrificial lamb if Cook were added to the RB gameday lineup.

I couldn’t agree more. He was a terrible signing. If we didn't throw away a 4th rd pick for Trey Lance, we’d have a great number one RB.

Zeke is here for 1 thing, he's Dak's best friend and when dak is down in the dumps and playing like poo and he has the deer in the headlights look, Zeke is supposed to come over and pull his shirt and show his belly. Do a dance for dak like in Goonies so it gets him out of his funk.

Tell me honestly why he wasn't in on the play Rico fumbled near the goalline... he drove us down there, isn't prone to fumbling, and good at short yardage, and the coaches made that decision?!?
