We have one guy on this team that actually hates losing as much as SOME Dallas fans hate seeing the team lose and this clown wants to trade him! Unreal. How about finding 52 other guys that actually care as much as Dez and dominating the league. I am sure a team full of gentlemen would be pleasant to root for. Give the a team of badasses Anyday.

How about 53 players leaving early?

There is Megatron in a category all by himself and then another 5-6 guys who in the next tier in my mind:

(in no particular order)

D. Thomas (Denver)
AJ Green
Dez
Josh Gordon (yes, I know it was only his 2nd season, however, leading the league in yardage with the garbage they had throwing the ball counts for something)
Jeffrey
Marshall

And the biggest story of that list is how many of those guys had their season end Week 17. You don't see that when you rank the top QBs, or offensive lines, or defensive lines. If you can address receiver with one player and spend a lot of money on him, or get a first rounder to spend on areas of need AND have money to spend on other areas of need, you take it.

They wouldn't be leaving early, because they would be up by 50 and even THIS coach couldn't blow that lead...I think.. He should have punched Garrett out on his way to the locker room!

So hold up. When this team was obliterated 44-6 in Philly, followed that up with a 34-3 playoff loss, and a 34-14 massacre in week 17 against NY few years later; Ware, Romo, Miles, Witten, etc. were untouchable. Now, now you guys want to trade your best young skilled player? Lol. Should've traded the aforementioned lost boys 2-3 years ago and Dez would be the center piece of a championship core

that's how I think of it too. Not going to jump down your throat for the Gordon listing. I'd actually take him over D. Thomas.

I think all this talk of nobody hates losing more than Dez is roughly equal in value to all the talk we had jammed down our throats for two decades that nobody loved playing the game more than Brett Favre.

Means nothing to me.

good for you.

I have to agree with you here. This offense should revolve around Dez and DeMarco IMHO. Use these guys the way they should be used and upgrade the defensive line and this team could make some noise.

I quit after "hear me out."

LOL!

I was critical of Dez walking off the field before the game was over. But it's a small indiscretion. Certainly nothing to trade him over.

I agree, it's silly. Dez is demonstrative. There's nothing wrong with that at all, and there's a place for that on the team, but it's more a measure of his personality than it is of his will to win.

The one thing I like about it, though, it gives the media a convenient way to dodge all the 'Dez is a hothead/malcontent' garbage when the team finally starts winning something. They'll be able to just redirect all that ish into the new media template and we won't have to hear the trumped-up negativity anymore.

Looking at it from Dez's perspective, I would want to get traded.

He isn't going to win anything here, we all know that. He needs to go somewhere where his talents are utilized. He'll get his big payday.

As a fan, I want him here. He is a great teammate and a difference maker on the field. If we did trade him for picks it wouldn't really amount to anything anyway with Jerry making the picks.

You know something is ridiculous when the OP starts off with "Hear me out."

Trade him and get an . . . evil wide receiver?

Well, I was certainly wrong about Dez, I never though he survive the growing pains, and although I hate doing it, I have to give kudos to Jerry and Dez for handling it. Now, are all of you completely comfortable handing Dez that kind of money? I'm still a little skittish.
I would trade Dez, but I'd have to get a kings ransom for him.
