Repeated...for accuracy, right?Everyone else in the NFL is thankful for Dak.
Repeated...for accuracy, right?Everyone else in the NFL is thankful for Dak.
Now isn't Reality strange...
His very old moniker on this site...back in the star wars era.
Oh no doubt…..long how far those strong trenches took Mr. Purdy till he got injured.Good post. If distilled down to “not making the trenches a priority”, it would be perfect. Short of having a Mahomes/Brady type, O and D lines are the way to get that ring.
T.O. immortalized it for usIt is amazing just how much popcorn we have gone through the last two decades.
Flacco in his prime was an excellent QB, AND he had balls of titanium under pressure. He's very under rated around here. That is correct but Flacco had a fantastic playoff run and didn't make any huge mistakes.
This is the reason:Without further injuries, this may be the only person added to the roster...
If Elliott is willing to take a pay cut, there's a very real chance that the Cowboys could choose to re-sign him to a deal that makes more sense with their salary cap.

Dak fans and Dak haters are equally obnoxious!!
Yea!!!!
Another pot-stirring Dak thread!
Usually after first attempting to add a relevant piece of facts to discuss, not name call from which...if one is applying labels to a 'side.' It's been ages since I went camping as an Order of the Arrow, BrotherhoodDak fans and Dak haters are equally obnoxious!!
On this board just how really useful would that prove? There are some group polarities that askew any percentages thus derived.someone should do a poll,
Dak _8 years and counting.
are you a grateful fan ?
are you a ungrateful fan ?
Haha Flacco was trash let’s cut it out lol.Flacco in his prime was an excellent QB, AND he had balls of titanium under pressure. He's very under rated around here.
Marcus MosherThis is the reason:
It's a group that, without Elliott, has only two familiar veterans — i.e., Pollard and Rico Dowdle — as Malik Davis enters Year 2 and rookies Deuce Vaughn and Hunter Luepke enter their first-ever NFL training camp hoping to make a splash early. And then there's Ronald Jones, who walks in on a one-year deal but with two Super Bowl rings to show for his five-year career.

allow them to give a direct and simple answer, one way or the other. On this board just how really useful would that prove? There are some group polarities that askew any percentages thus derived.
I was doubting the validity from the start and so stated...allow them to give a direct and simple answer, one way or the other.
as far as useful, how many threads here are actually useful?
Exactly!!Oh no doubt…..long how far those strong trenches took Mr. Purdy till he got injured.
Here starteth the lesson.well, we had 20M in cap last year. 20M this year.
your math and BS just doesn't add up about the cap situation.
give us a name you wanted to sign and we didn't have the money to do?
oh, did I just blow your last brain cell with that question....
I get that, but still we have 20M this year. they can pull money from future into this year or roll money into next year. but we have the CAP space to spend. nothing to do with cash spent. and CAP gets manipulated every year. at some point, everyone pays the piper. at some point, you have huge cap hits to payoff and you go into rebuild mode. and we can still redo additional contracts and gain another 10M in space. so Hilton, Barr, et. al. could have been signed with some more restructures. it wasn't just get Gregory and we are screwed. again, CAP gets manipulated all the time. RAMS did it to the tune of winning a superbowl. Here starteth the lesson.
1) The original designation for last years CAP was to resign Gregory, now if he agreed the same contract as he accepted from Denver it would have cost us $21m over two
2) We then had sufficient space to sign: Barr, TY, Hankins, Fowler and Peters ......all upgraded from the usual JAG's we sign and improved our depth.
3) We only rolled over $3.9M
4) You need to start projecting CAP (not money spent...remember the last lesson: signing bonus, into prorated meaning CAP was spread over the years).
5) We will spend SOME of that CAP on in-season upgrades.....the rest to save for the: CeeDee, Diggs, Micah and Dak (as yes I agree that Jerry hasnt the guts/professional acumen to let Dak go).....especially as we'll need to add $60m+ for Dak's PREVIOUS restructures.
6) As for players we miss out on...... we miss out on every player in FA, as we're continually paying the (prorated) CAP Hit's from previous years.
7) Remember, every team can sign their elite/very good players, however, when they overspend on that group .....its the next tier that suffers and end up with too many JAG's
Now have a better day than yesterday, you appeared to have a break-down reading some of your responses.
