Yeah...me. But, there are other stupid cowboy fans too! 8 million of them!
Are they all online followers and E-Lie lovers?

Green couldn't have? I think he could have just by the talent around him. That team was loaded offensively. Now would he have is another story. May be something said for the team rallying around the BU QB, etc.
The OL in 2009 was much better as a whole than what the Cowboys trotted out on the field in 2011. Sensy and Hamlin may have been our last decent safety combo. Was there still talented players in 2011? Of course. I would never say there wasn't. But top to bottom, I'd take 2009 roster over 2011 every day of the week and twice on Sunday if I was looking to win right now. 2009 team, though aging in several areas of concern, was IMO just a better team overall.
I generally don't count 2010 as a Garrett year. Though if you are going to you have to give the guy credit for turning the team around that season.
Whichever one you need it to be to justify being angry about the analogy. So, help me understand this analogy. Who is the whipped dog and the battered wife? The fans or the team?
Maybe, maybe not, what?
Let me see if I can get this straight... OP comes in with an air of superiority, proclaiming anyone who thinks this team is going 8-8 is full of crap, but there's no point in bringing up that OP's predictions are rarely based in reality and rarely correct? If I think the team is 8-8, he thinks I'm full of crap. But if I think he's full of crap, I gotta keep my mouth shut?
I happen to think what I posted is pertinent... and interesting. I guess if you don't think so, you're free to disagree or ignore me.
If you examine the history of the NFL most teams that have gone from bad/mediocre for a period of years to a championship contender over night was due either to a head coaching change or a change at QB. The 99 Rams who were 4-12 the year prior came out of nowhere to win the SB after Kurt Warner took over. The 01 Pats went from a 5-11 team the year prior to winning the SB after Brady took over. The 2011 49ers who hadn't made the playoffs in years and were 6-10 the year prior went 13-3 and reached the NFC title game after Harbaugh took over. They've been a strong contender ever since.
I agree that the talk that Ware is washed up is a little premature. He will have Von Miller opposite him and I think the Broncos will not ride him to be the bell cow with a collection of nobodies. But all in all, it was a bandaid that needed to be ripped off quickly. We could not keep holding onto him like a prized heirloom.
Whichever one you need it to be to justify being angry about the analogy.
Maybe it's time you shed your so called fandom of the Cowboys?
Correction: Garrett doesn't deserve any credit for his 5-3 record as the interim HC in 2010 that all goes to Jerry for waking the team up. That was Wades team all Garrett did was stand there and continue calling plays which is more responsibility than he has now.
Today's Cowboys reminds so much of the Dave Campo Cowboys......only difference is Jason Garrett has a QB and a team with some talent....they coach the same. Plus Jason Garrett is just another Jerry Jones whipping boy.... just like Campo
Yeah, but besides that... we should be good.
Seriously though, I have hopes that the defense will play ok this year.
Claiborne, Carr, and Scandrick are solid corners.
Church is a pretty damn good safety. I think between JJ Wilcox and Johnson, we will be ok at the other spot.
I think Carter will play better this year and he has fantastic athleticism.
The SLB should be fine. That is and always has been a position that is easy to fill in this defense.
Melton is a really good player, and now days guys almost always come all the way back from ACL's.
Lawrence is a really good prospect at WDE and the rotation of him and Mincey should be able to put some pressure on the QB. How much? I'm not sure, but I am pretty sure it will be more than Ware did last year.
McClain is WAY better than Hayden at the 1. Hayden coming in as a rotational guy behind McClain should be a big difference for the better.
Crawford is a good player and him coming back and forming a rotation with Selvie... who was good himself... should be a very nice combo on the strongside.
I fully expect Bishop and Coleman to contribute to the DL rotation. Maybe I'm wrong, but what Marinelli asks DL to do in his system isn't that complicated and I think the young guys will be able to step in and play in a rotation from the start. They both certainly have the physical ability to do so, and are significantly better than the guys we had in reserve last year.
So, basically... we have more talent on the DL as a whole and because of how Marinelli asks them to play, I think they'll contribute right away. The LB spots should be fine in year 2 of this 43 and I think Marinelli is going to use the DB's in a manner that they are built for (more man coverage).
Add in that there will be a significant jump in year 2 of the defensive system and I honestly feel like there is a good chance for improvements in a number of defensive spots. Even if nothing else changed, just playing in a second year in this system would make for big improvements.
Personally, I love getting younger and more aggressive on defense, and as much as Ware once did for this franchise, it has been a while since he has had much of an impact. I see guys who are going to play with more of an edge than the players we've had for a while, and that too gives me a lot of hope.
I like the direction, but I understand why some don't... and that is up to the individual.
The Ware comments specifically I couldn't agree more with. I think people are going to see a fresh, returned to form from injury D-Ware, and realise that Dallas made a mistake in letting him go.
I know everyone cries about the money thing but you find a way to work that out and you don't lose a guy like Ware. His loss will be felt a lot more than people seem to realise.
I don't think that was his predict
You may want to read his earlier posts. This was a negative post aimed at Hos.
Maybe it's time you shed your so called fandom of the Cowboys?
The sarcasm zoomed by you too, lol.
I happen to think you ought to make your posts about topics, and not other posters. That's a far cry from me telling you to keep your mouth shut. I didn't see him say he thinks your opinion is full of crap, but if he did, he's definitely wrong to try to make his thread about anything other than football.
That said, I think in general that posts that do nothing other than snipe at others for their opinions are neither pertinent, nor interesting. That happens to be my opinion. And, yes, I'll disagree or ignore you when I don't share your opinions, since that's what the site's about.
But do (everybody) take care not to personally attack, insult, or harass another member. It's one thing to disagree with a take, and another to continuously engage in a public slap fight that nobody other than you finds interesting, informative, or can relate in any way to the topic of the thread or the Dallas Cowboys in general.
So your tough love criticism of the team is helping them become better? Or is it making you the more proactive and thus a better fan?
