You're right, I guess, I don't play chess but I think most people that read it knew what point I was trying to make. Ya see, that's what wrong with some people, they get caught up in the minutia. It's kinda like reading a persons post and they have a spelling error, if you know what word they were trying to spell then it's no use in correcting them. The point of these message board is to communicate with fellow fns (see you knew I was trying to spell fans). No matter what education level someone reaches it doesn't make them more a fan than the next.

See, that what's wrong with people that think that Garrett's going to be a great coach in this league partly because of his Princeton education. Yeah he might be bright but in crucial situations last year some savvy vet DC outcoached him. Spagnualo did it in the 2007 playoffs, Jim Johnson did it in December 2008, and the Pitts DC did it also in 2008.

Garretts's offense worked good in 2007 for a few reasons, no one had any tape on it and he took the league by storm. TO had monster numbers partly because teams were playing him like he was just another wr, few double teams, no aggessive man with over the top coverage. That happened until late in the season, teams started to take TO out of the game and were willing to let the other Cowboys beat them.

This continue into 2008 season, some people look at TO stats and say that he feel off but I think it was more about the way teams defended him. DC dared the Cowboys to throw to Crayton who was getting 1 on 1 coverage and he couldn't beat his man. Why do you think Garrett was so pumped about getting RW11 because he knew Crayton as a No.2 wr didn't threaten the defense and they weren't respecting him. He thought just by getting RW11 teams would take the man-over coverage away from TO and bring the explosiveness back to the offense.

DC's basically said "until you can prove to me RW11 is a legitimate threat, we'll still cover TO the same". That's why at the end of last year TO said RW11 should get more passes thrown in his direction. Garrett needed to make RW11 a viable option against 1 on 1 coverage but he never did. In the end RW11 was no more a threat to the defense than Crayton.

In 2009 it's Garrett's move err turn or whatever the appropriate term is.

THANK YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU...

Hmmm. Do you have a wireless access point (I have the Westell 327W) or do you have one PC connected directly to the wall? Perhaps one of your filters on the other outlets in your home is going bad. I've had plenty of bad storms and it has been rock solid throughout. If that inconsistency continues you might want to give them a call. Your connection may be jacked and possibly in need of an adjustment outside.
Yep. I have a Westell 8291 for my WAP. It's a good idea to replace all my filters, but I've already taken care of my alarm system's DSL filter (which cause me some problems awhile back). I'll also check my outside line jack. Thanks for the advice.

Oh...so that post gave you a woody?

From your picture dogging out Werder, I would have thought that you were old enough to know that Instant Gratification is only for children!

I would also bet that your first two years on the job you did not become the smartest person to ever work for your employer?

Your kinda like Garrett come to think of it. He'll probably correct Dick LeBeau's english if they were having a conversation then look down on him because he's not Ivy League educated. It will probably make him feel good until LeBeau shows him his SB rings and remind him of what he did to him in 2008. After that the RHG will probably tuck his tail and run.
I have to openly laugh at anyone who is so obsessed with Jason Garrett that they brand someone else to be just like him and then without know either person brand them both.

I would seriously like to know where you come up with this kind of crap that Jason Garrett would disrespect Dick Lebeau? I really wouldn't like to know, but the curiosity of how a mind can create this screed is killing me.

In your little analogy here where I am like Jason Garrett are you saying you are Dick Lebeau? That's presumptuous of you to anoint yourself on the level of a football great.

I especially like that you think Lebeau would show Garrett his Super Bowl rings and it would shame Garrett into turning tail and running. The only problem with this nonsense is that Jason Garrett has two Super Bowl rings himself. Or did you not know that? If you didn't that is incredibly sad. Perhaps the saddest part of this little mock opera you have played out in your head.

Again to your analogy, where you are Lebeau, what is it you think that is going to make me run away? Pfft. As if.

In fact, the only thing I can think of that would be sadder is if someone replied to this thinking it was brilliant. I hope no one was that foolish. I have lost faith in a lot of posters here so it won't shock me if some of them were impressed with this crappola.

First of all I am younger (maturity wise) than my years...(But I can still pull college chicks so go me...)

Secondly, and with much less sarcasm, no I was not the smartest person in my job in the first two years. BUT...I can honestly tell you I certainly did not regress. I actually matured and developed quite a bit. Of course unlike a certain person with red hair I did not act like I knew the answers. AND, when things did not work I would not continue to try them...a.k.a. the definition of stupidity. Of course I didn't go to Princeton so what do I know?

Who cares? It is a Super Bowl ring. By the time he retires he may have a few more as a coach. We don't know at this point.

The whole snob who gets put in his place angle was just silly.

I'll say this about the situation and that will be it. If TO was getting aggressive man and the safety double team and Garrett couldn't exploit that then we have problems. If TO's was getting regular coverage last year and couldn't beat it then we are going to have a fantastic year. The problem with analyzing this is you would have to have the coaches film to actually see what type of coverage he recieved, you can't tell on tv.

Just another thing, I wanted Dallas to get another reciever before the 2008 season. I didn't think we needed a big name wr I wanted someone like Andre Davis of the Houston Texans. Someone that threatened the field vertically ala Alvin Harper, he doesn't have to catch 8 balls a game but make the defense respect his prescence down field.
