I loved Tim Conway on Carol Burnett

He always was good for a laugh. I don't know if I laughed more at him or at my grandma laughing at him.

Good memories.

I'm having a flashback...didn't Kristen, Sue Ellens sister shoot JR?......We sound like a bunch of hens talking about soap operas:laugh1:

yes she did.

I loved Dallas when it first came on.

But the show was never the same after Jock died.

"Jerry Jones to appear in new 'Dallas' remake." Yep, Jerry will be making a guest appearance in an upcoming episode.
June 12, 2012

IRVING, Texas — Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said Tuesday that he will be in an episode of the TNT drama series "Dallas," which begins Wednesday and is a continuation of the original series that aired from 1978 to 1991.

"I did enjoy having it shot out at the stadium, having it shot there in the suite" said Jones, who wasn't sure when the episode will air. "Of course, I've always been a big fan and was a big fan, when I first got to Dallas, of J.R., so all of that fit well. I think it's a good thing for Dallas."

I always preferred drunked brother Gary to Jock.

I just knew Jerry would get himself on that show. :laugh1:

All I know is there better be a Cowboys Stadium flyover in the opening credits.

Gary was Jock's son, not his brother. And Gary was the spinoff character for Knott's Landing.

94 must have been the year you were born if you never heard of J.R. Ewing.
I was born in 1990 and still know who J.R. is...even who shot him.

There was a quick shot of one of the endzones :)

I was pretty little when the show first aired but I do remember my mom and grandma watching it and talking about what happened. I never really understood what was happening because of my age but now I guess I can find out what all the hoopla was about. ;)

They do a flyover of rangers ballpark and of cowboys stadium. Also, they showed them on the star at midfield and then showed the whole stadium. I love that they give the stadium and ballpark lots of love. :)

Awesome having J.R. back on tv but damn Larry, trim the eyebrows.

I thought the whole two hours was great. It's kinda weird but It doesn't seem like JR. and Bobby missed a beat.

Loved that they kept the theme music and incorporated the stadium in the credits and the show as well. Can't wait til next week.
