Jake Delhomme a Cowboy

You guys/gals probably dont get to see as much of Jake as I do.

He is not an upgrade by any means. He plays in a system that lives off of big plays. No big plays and the Panthers dont have a shot. Steve Smith and Muhsin have made Delhomme seem better than he really is.

Delhomme is sooooo much younger and puts up such better stats than Bledsoe does. What's even more impressive is that Delhomme does it without any real star WRs, like say......Muhshin Muhammed and Steve Smith.

One can use circular logic to argue any side of the issue. Muhammed was among the league best WRs in Carolina then goes to Chicago and is pedestrian at best. Maybe it wasn't Muhammed but who was getting him the ball.

Obviously there is a HUGE dropoff when comparing a 4th round rookie to Jake Delhomme. My point is, the difference is negligible at best when comparing Delhomme to Beldsoe. You don't think Bledsoe would have better stats throwing WR screens to Smith and have him housing them consistently? Or playing behind Carolina's Oline, while very pedestrian in terms of run blocking, they were pretty phenomenal in pass protection.

Its pretty sad when a thread about a QB the Cowboys did not get in free agency 3 years ago goes to 5 pages and noone is talking on OL, WR, S or C help really on the front page.
