Maybe because he knows the one guy is taking all the heat in the locker room for pathetic performances by the entire team. Unlike fans, the players don't judge each other by their salaries. They know who can play and who works hard at it. It's fair for Dak to take the brunt of the blame because he played poorly the last 1.5 quarters and because that's the QBs job, but maybe Ferguson knows it's a team game and they all crapped the bed against SF. Only fans look at Dak when the team stinks it up and thinks he should lift the entire team to victory because of his salary. I know what Dak is and what he isn't; I only get frustrated with him when the team plays well enough to win but he doesn't, and there have been some playoff games like that. Against Arizona and SF this season, when the team plays that poorly, I don't expect Dak to be superman. Mahomes is the only superman at QB in the NFL in my opinion, and even he stinks it up sometimes, like against Denver.
