Jake Ferguson said he texted Dak after Sunday night’s game: “I’m with you til the wheels fall off.”

They didn't change the whole offense. Maybe that's part of the issue or it's just that mikes old schemes suck. I think Mike doesn't know how to use the TE much which is why they drafted a guy with better blocking prowess than ferg but lesser receiving talent. And your right they haven't utilized the running backs out the backfield but I don't think it's on Dak. 2 yard passes to a RB standing still is not what anyone had in mind so they need to come up with something better. They wanted to get rid of option routes but what they replaced them with simply sucks.
QBs WCO 101, must throw receivers open, have to start it off conservative and hit your underneath routes.
Most unfamiliar with the concept and scheme do not realize how important it is to hit underneath routes first to set up the safeties, suck them up and then hit your edge options that we actually have plenty of.
We have plenty of speed on the outside and why CD is getting really frustrated.

That means the wheels are already off. Think about it. You don’t text that unless you know that the wheels being off is already set in motion.

Like at what point in a war do generals say to their leader, ‘I’m with you to the end’? When their surrounded and all about to die anyway.

Maybe Mike is doing a poor job of teaching the new concepts. Seems like all the skill positions are struggling with the details. Probably needed some reps in pre season just to work on basic concepts.

I love that Ferguson did that, but it also sounds like heads are hanging lower than after a regular loss. I hope this does not affect them going into the game against the Chargers.
They've definitely violated the 24 hour rule. Cowboys need to tune out the fans. They're not helping.

Locker room must be tense for Ferg to even say this.

Doesn't sound good to me.
It all start with Parsons being such a diva. He's supposed to be a leader, and his teammates are merely following his act.

I'd have to say there is probably more to the Diggs incident than a lot of people wanted to admit. Me included. Seems weird.
What do you mean? Like, maybe he's not really injured? That crossed my mind as well, honestly.

I'm interested to hear what you mean here.

The WCO scheme while simplified and more conservative requires discipline and quick reaction on short drops, Dak seems confused with the concept even with this shceme.
So we shake our heads and what is next, just let Dak play sand lot ball?
We just dont know if there is any other answer at this point in the season, but we are losing ground quickly waiting on Dak to figure out what he actually still can do.

I mean that Diggs was really outing his/others feelings towards Dak celebrating a "Practice TD". Freudian slip in the moment type thing. Oops.

Indeed, you cannot just learn a new offense overnight, but this has not been overnight, and execution has to be established, the scheme may be too simplified.
This offense is a complete disaster at this point and its about time that someone starts to take accountability for inferior performance.
What would everyone be thinking in such a strange alternate universe that sent Dak to the bench and exercised other options.
Would it really upset most of the fanbase?

I like that Ferguson did it but it is a sign that some division may be happening in the locker room.

It’s one thing to get your butt kicked in private but three times in a row by the 9ers on a big stage has to do bad things to your psyche. I think he’s in his own head now and that’s not where you want to be. Hard to come back from that with his limitations.

Just the tone of this tweet tells ya how brutal this week has been for Dak. Even worse it appears he losing the locker room. Whether some of you realize it or not, players are humans too. In other words, this may have broken him.

Ferguson is a loser now because he’s trying to be a team player? You want him to take the TO approach and get everyone in the locker room against Dak?
Sounds like something an eagle fan would say doesn't it.
I'm with you Vaquero, Ferguson is a good TE, and the SF loss was NOT on Ferguson in any way, shape, or form. And like you said, he's just being a team player!
