Brooks appears in a battle with Simi Fehoko ..He has been very impressive so far. The receiver position is much stronger this season.
1. Lamb
2. Cooks
3. Gallup
4. Tolbert
5. Turpin
6. Brooks
Yes, the WR group is much better!
I'd take a chance on a young developmental player like Moreno-Cropper over Turpin. Turpin has zero chance of ever cracking the top 3, so better to take a flyer on a player that does.
Meanwhile the RB position is pretty thin..He has been very impressive so far. The receiver position is much stronger this season.

Maybe not. It really doesn't look like it is, but it is early.Meanwhile the RB position is pretty thin..
Give me Lamb, Cooks, Brooks, and Durden and/or Moreno-Cropper....Gallup, Tolbert, and Turpin should be set out by the curb for early morning pick-up.He has been very impressive so far. The receiver position is much stronger this season.

I would say that's the group right now. We'll see how it plays out. I expect Houston to contend again and possibly Moreno-Cropper, but they might just be PS this year. Expected to hear a little more noise from David Durden. He has been very impressive so far. The receiver position is much stronger this season.

The group right now is Fehoko is over Brooks. Brooks might be able to beat him out but it hasn't happened on the second day of pads. STs is going to be a huge factor and they really won't judge that until preseason.I would say that's the group right now. We'll see how it plays out. Will agree that Turp is on the bubble more than most are willing to accept at this point.Give me Lamb, Cooks, Brooks, and Durden and/or Moreno-Cropper....Gallup, Tolbert, and Turpin should be set out by the curb for early morning pick-up.
I could see Tolbert, Fehoko, and Turpin getting picked up if they were released. But as far as Brooks, Cropper, or others they would have to stand out in the preseason games.I won't be surprised when WR's the Cowboys cut get picked up by other teams. I'd like to stash them on the PS but they won't be able to keep them all.
If Deuce Vaughn keeps improving in punt and kickoff returns, Turpin may become expendable due to roster spot availability.I'm hearing Dennis Houston has been showing up as well.
Turpin is also role player that our special teams depend very big on, in fact he is one of the better special teams returners in the NFL.
Quickly, its obvious that they want to improve there. If Deuce Vaughn keeps improving in punt and kickoff returns, Turpin may become expendable due to roster spot availability.
