-From NFL.com:

Silky smooth athlete who has morphed into a monster over the last two seasons. Tolbert is a high-character prospect with skill elements that are dripping with NFL potential. He gave work to everyone he faced, including SEC cover corners at Tennessee. His three-sport background offers unique perspective to pull from at his position, and his route-running gives him a leg up in camp battles early on. His traits, talent and production should push him up the board, and dialing up the competitive spirit could turn him into a top-flight WR2.

Where's THAT guy? lol. Sounds like a stud

He went to a small school. I'd imagine we will see him take the next step this year. Takes time to adjust to the NFL because, as Pat McAfee says, the NFL is hard.

Year 2 give him some time.
He was from a small, school which probably does not have the better coaches compare to the top schools.
The NFL can be very overwhelming the 1st year as well now facing much better talent.

Let's see how / if he progresses this year. I would for him to succeed. For several reasons. He is a Dallas Cowboy would be a good success story from a smaller school....remember Jerry Rice.....
He had good coaches. That's how he got discovered He just wasn't quite up to par as far as NFL athleticism. But he was also a pro baseball prospect. And he's only played football for a couple of years in high school. He played his Jr. and Sr. year, then college with Major Applewhite, who is about as good of a coach as you'll get at the college level. That's how he even got discovered.

But he was always going to be a late bloomer, which if you read his scouting report, is sort of what it said between the lines. I still like the pick.

Third round; you expect some development time. That's why he made it to the 3rd round.

A smaller factor in going WR at 26 is you’re essentially throwing this guy away.

Repeat….not a big factor, but a factor they will probably consider.
I trade him in all my mocks after I trade down and take Hyatt.

hes got the physical, not the mental part of the nfl game, YET

dude looks the part in shorts, can catch in practice with the pressure off but running that read option route offense confused his.
From what you say it he should of fitted in nicely with our Offense.... no opposition<great, add a defense = struggles.
