OK, not written off by the team that got him, but written off by the team that dealt him.
His carries nearly dropped in half from his 2nd to 3rd seasons with the Rams for no apparent reason, except the pre-Vermeil Rams didn't have much of a clue as to what they were doing.

Lewis' problem this year, is that he's a franchise back that needs to tote the rock 25-30 times a game, and alot of times, he wasn't getting those touches needed in order for him to establish a rythm and get stronger as the game, and season, wore along

he'll find a team

Lewis will be good next year wherever he goes. Maybe to SF with Nolan?
